Over the Horizon goes orchestral: Galaxy S26 ringtone unveiled

The annual appointment with Over the Horizon is much more than a simple ringtone: it is the sonic experience that accompanies the launch of Samsung’s flagships. For 2026, with the arrival of the series Galaxy S26, the Korean giant has chosen to return to orchestral roots with a powerful and moving theme, titled "A Soundtrack of the Earth".

After the jazz detour of the 2025 edition (which debuted alongside the Galaxy S25 series), the new version of Samsung’s famous ringtone changes style once again. As anticipated at the opening, the theme of this generation centers on the Earth, with a performance by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Over the Horizon 2026 was arranged by composer and pianist Eunike Tanzil while the recordings took place at Abbey Road Studios in London. The goal is to capture the beauty of our planet through orchestral melodies: Samsung has released the video of the performance, where you can listen to the full version of the iconic ringtone.

Moreover, as tradition dictates, there is also a behind-the-scenes video: in this clip various behind-the-scenes details of the production and execution of the piece are revealed.

The preview listening of the new Galaxy ringtone is an annual event for brand enthusiasts. Regarding the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, the trio will be announced on the 25 February in San Francisco — the city that was also the backdrop for the S23 family.
