Following the launch of the new flagship lineup and even an Ultra version, the Chinese manufacturer has completed a trifecta with iQOO 15R – a new addition aimed at selected global markets. Once again it is a smartphone with a gaming DNA, equipped with solid specs, an affordable price and a refined aesthetic (and decidedly different from the usual).

The strength of the iQOO 15R is certainly its design: the phone features a camera module similar to that of iQOO 15 and 15 Ultra, namely Squircle – squared but with heavily rounded corners – while the back cover is available in black as well as a texture a scacchi molto stilosa e dal sapore giovanile.
The technical side leans toward gaming and battery life with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (in combination with LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1) and a battery of 7.600 mAh with 100W charging. Among other features we have a liquid cooling system with a vapor chamber and graphite sheets; there’s also room for the chip Q2 designed to offer a stable 144 fps gaming experience.
The smartphone mounts a AMOLED 6.59″ display diagonal with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and PWM Dimming at 4,320 Hz.
The main camera is a 50 MP LYT-700V sensor with OIS while on the software side OriginOS 6 with Android 16 is present – with four years of OS updates and six years of security patches. The price of iQOO 15R starts from around €419 for the 8/256 GB version, currently available only for the Indian market.
