Infinix Note 60 Ultra draws inspiration from Nothing Phone (3) and Xiaomi, with a mini display

The Infinix brand is a Chinese brand known for its affordable tech devices, targeted mainly at India and emerging markets. The company has often made headlines for unconventional ideas such as its scented smartphone, cases that change color and even a tri-fold mini.

In some cases we’ve dealt with concepts, but the company still has a solid lineup of real phones. The upcoming flagship will be Infinix Note 60 Ultra and will throw down the gauntlet to the big players with a design that nods to Xiaomi and Nothing.

Infinix Note 60 Ultra will have an unconventional design: here it is in leaked images, with an “inspired” style

The new model is the star of the initial leak renders, which would reveal its design. On the front there would be a large display with slim bezels and a central punch-hole, but the real surprise appears on the back. The Infinix Note 60 Ultra should feature a rear panel in the Glyph Matrix style of the Nothing Phone (3).

The Nothing device was the first to replace the previous rear LED strips with a matrix of 489 programmable micro-LEDs. This mini display allows you to view notifications and symbols, becoming at times a digital clock, a battery indicator, and more.

Not clear if the solution shown by the renders will be as feature-rich as that of the Nothing Phone (3). On one hand, the Infinix Note 60 Ultra draws inspiration from Xiaomi 17 Pro for the use of a rear display — a feature brought back into the spotlight after years of absence. On the other hand, it leans toward a minimalist style evidently derived from Nothing’s flagship, with a matrix-style panel similar to the one used also by the Infinix Note 60 Pro.

The leaked specs of the new Infinix

After a first look at the design, there’s also room for the specs: the new Infinix would mount an AMOLED display of 6.78″ 1.5K with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 32 MP selfie camera. The rest of the camera system would offer a 200 MP sensor with OIS, accompanied by two other lenses of 8 and 50 MP.

For performance, the plan is to use the Dimensity 8400 chipset with 12 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of storage. On the autonomy side there would be a 7,000 mAh battery with 100W charging and 50W wireless; finally Android 16 for the software.
