During the February 26 event, the Chinese tech giant also announced the Global debut of Huawei MatePad Mini, its first compact tablet. The device clearly challenges both Apple and compact Android tablets, but it is not yet certain whether it will arrive in Italy. Launched in China last September, Huawei’s mini-format tablet is ready to conquer Global markets—although we don’t know which ones. On board we find an OLED PaperMatte 8.8″ diagonal display with a 2.5K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness up to 1,800 nits. The optical film guarantees high anti-reflective performance, while support for the Huawei M Pencil Pro stylus makes it suitable for productivity.
As usual, Huawei has not confirmed the MatePad Mini’s chipset, so we base on the information circulating online. The technical details continue with a 6,400 mAh battery, support for HyperCharge 66W and a 50 MP camera accompanied by an ultra-wide lens.

Huawei MatePad Mini is certainly a device to watch, and now that it’s arrived in Global version it becomes even more interesting.
