By now we are used to Samsung’s conservative strategy: the same sensors as the previous generation, the novelty is the software that has been perfected also thanks to the input from the hardware. It is the story of Galaxy Z Flip 7, equipped with the same photographic setup as its predecessor but enhanced thanks to the input of the Exynos 2500 and other technologies.
And since there isn’t two without three, it seems that even the next Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 will have to face the same fate: the first rumors about the camera of the future clamshell foldable have emerged.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 will have a disappointing camera, according to the first leaks
The flip phone is expected for July, but rumors about its features have been circulating for months — and now it’s the camera department’s turn. Those who expected a revolution or at least a change will be disappointed: the first rumors about the cameras speak of an identical package to that offered by Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Based on what has emerged there would again be a 50 + 12 MP dual camera with an ultra-wide, while on the selfie side we will find the usual 10 MP sensor. Over seven generations the Flip range has seen only one change for the main camera while ultra-wide and selfie cameras are now crystallized.
