Before launching the next flagship models, the Asian manufacturer should enrich its mid-range lineup with the new models in the A family. Samsung Galaxy A57 5G has been certified by the Chinese TENAA authority, which as usual has revealed basically everything: only the images and a few more precise technical details are missing, but overall the mid-range already seems almost without secrets!

The TENAA certification reveals that Samsung Galaxy A57 5G will be lighter and thinner than the previous A56: the latter has a thickness of 7.4 mm and a weight of 197 grams while the new model will drop to 6.9 mm and 182 grams.
The heart of Samsung’s new mid-range seems to be the new Exynos 1680: TENAA appears to be in line with the Geekbench results, “confirming” the SoC. Turning to the rest of the specifications, there are no major novelties compared to the current A56: the certifying authority cites a battery of 5,000 mAh, a 50 + 12 + 5 MP camera and an AMOLED display of 6.7″ diagonal.
Anyway, the flood of details emerging from the certification can mean only one thing: Samsung Galaxy A57 is now close to debut, and previous rumors also spoke of an early launch. Usually the A series window is March/April but this year the debut should occur in February or anyway before the presentation of the Galaxy S26 family.
