The first gaming smartphone equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is arriving. It will be about Red magic 9 pro (there is also space for the model 9 Pro Plus) and in this article we have collected it for you all the official teasers released so far: here's what's new on the specifications and functions of Nubia's next devices.
Red Magic 9 Pro: all the news announced by the teasers
As for the debut, the series Red magic 9 pro will be launched in China next 23th November while for the Global launch we will have to wait (probably until the first quarter of 2024). It also improves the recharge, which now goes up to well 165w (as seen aboard Red Magic 8S Pro and 8S Pro+): this is the first smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for charging speed (against the 120W of iQOO 12/12 Pro and the 100W of Xiaomi 14 Pro). They will be enough only 16 minutes to charge the battery 100%!
The cooling system ICE is once again to the liquid with steam room: the dissipation area is larger (from 10.182 mm²) and is able to lower temperatures by up to 25°C less, so as to avoid overheating during the most intense gaming sessions.
Just like the previous models, the Red Magic 9 Pro series is also equipped with a chip specifically designed for gaming: this is the new Red Core R2 Pro. This is dedicated to the management of the shoulder buttons, the control of vibration, touch and sound effects and allows you to set various personalized profiles (with automatic scene recognition). Speaking of the shoulder keys, these are even more precise thanks to touch sampling 520 Hz and occupy a larger surface area than the previous generation. It also improves vibration motor, now able to offer 30% more feedback. We then have a configuration dual speaker, an entrance mini-jack 3,5 mm for headphones, the 7 WiFi low latency, a system of 9 surround antennas (for a more stable and precise signal).
