In May the Chinese company launched its new stylish smartphone designed for selfies, yet it seems that work on its successor is already at an advanced stage. Xiaomi CIVI 4 (or perhaps CIVI 5) would have been spotted in a premiere certificazione: Here's what we know so far about the next model in the range.
Xiaomi CIVI 4 (or CIVI 5) has appeared in the IMEI database: here are the first details
It all starts from a new Xiaomi smartphone certified in the Chinese version: the device features the acronym 24031PN0DC, which indicates that the debut should take place during first quarter of next year (24/03, these types of model numbers are nothing new for the brand). The most plausible hypothesis is that it is the future Xiaomi CIVI 4, a device that usually occupies the first half of the year and arrives after the main series. By the end of 2023 we should see the series debut in China Xiaomi 14, then followed by the new CIVI.
The trade name could also change and be Xiaomi CIVI 5: because of tetraphobia inherent in Chinese culture (the number 4 is considered a bad omen) producers often tend to skip a generation. Whatever the name of the terminal, it should appear during the first months of 2024.
At the moment there are many doubts about the identity of this device, at least as far as the market is concerned Global. Recently there has been talk of an upcoming Xiaomi phone with an unreleased, signed Qualcomm chipset SM7550 and code name crow: the SoC should be Snapdragon 7 Gen3 while the device in question could arrive as Xiaomi 14Lite. In short, the next one Xiaomi CIVI 4/CIVI 5 could arrive in our latitudes as part of the 14 series. This hypothesis clashes with another: just as CIVI 2 was presented in our latitudes as Xiaomi 13Lite, it was thought that the current CIVI 3 it would have been rebranded Xiaomi 14 Lite in the Global version. So… which device will be part of the 14 range? The current CIVI 3 or the next (and still just a rumor) CIVI 4?
