OxygenOS 14 Open Beta: here is the official OnePlus roadmap

The announcement of the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta follows the development of the software team OnePlus, which is working towards the release of Android 14 on its smartphones. First it was the turn of OnePlus 11, which first received the update, first in the form of Android 14 Developer Preview Program and then OxygenOS 14 Beta. Now, thanks to official roadmap published by Pete Lau's company, we can understand which models will be updated next.

Here is the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta update roadmap:

• Since October:
  • OnePlus 11R, 10 Pro, 10T
  • OnePlus North 3
  • One Plus Pad
• From November:
  • OnePlus 10R, 9, 9 Pro, 9R, 9RT, 8T
  • OnePlus Nord CE 3, Nord CE 3 Lite, Nord N30, Nord 2T, Nord CE 2 Lite
  • H1 2024:
    • OnePlus Nord N20 SE

As OnePlus points out, timings are approximate and may change based on model, region and operators. Furthermore, since we are talking about an Open Beta program, it will be available exclusively in certain geographical regions (Italy excluded). However, this roadmap is useful for Italian users for discover patterns and timing of the stable update, the roll-out of which will only start after the Beta program has ended.

The exclusion of OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, debuting in 2020 with OxygenOS 10 Android 10, means the stop after three major updates instead of four. This goes against his update policy, which however could only apply to top of the range models launched from 2022/2023 onwards.
