After the Xiaomi 13 series and the Ultra model, the focus is almost all on the next generation of the brand's top of the range. In reality there is also another device expected for this year, but it will not be the first clamshell smartphone of the Chinese brand: Xiaomi MIX Flip it should see the light directly in 2024 (and it seems that he will be in good company).

The latest rumors of the Chinese insider DigitalChatStation seem to put an end to the possibility of seeing Xiaomi's flip phone within this year. The leaker corrects the shot with respect to what was previously said, revealing the acronym of Xiaomi MIX Flip; this would be known internally as N17 and Xiaomi MIX Fold 4" like N18.
The two would be expected for the 2024; in both cases it would be top solutions equipped with chipsets of the series Snapdragon 8 (therefore the Qualcomm flagship range).
As for this year, Xiaomi MIX Fold 3" it is expected over the next few months (it is rumored in July or August), at least for the Chinese market. To date, there are no rumors about a possible Global debut.
Now that of flip phones seems to be a sector beaten by (almost) everyone: not only Samsung, but also Motorola, OPPO and not only (recently she also ventured into vivo).
