Building on the successes of its washer dryers, Tineco expands its offer with a new model that could represent a turning point in the category. And the Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro, which starts from the winning points of the previous models (such as the FLOOR ONE S5 Pro) and is enriched with new features with which the brand has attempted to remedy some of the limitations of these particular devices.
FLOOR ONE S7 Pro it is one of those products that, despite the rather high price, we feel like recommending with our eyes closed precisely because of the technology it hides and the quality of cleaning it is able to guarantee, provided however that it embraces the typical form factor of washer-dryer, a little more "squat" and less light than traditional vacuum cleaners.

Design and materials
Despite the many innovations introduced, from a stylistic point of view the Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro continue to follow the category standards. Considering that it is essentially a vacuum cleaner which, thanks to water, is able to wash floors, the body of the device is very large and integrates two containers: one for clean water and the other for Dirty water. What changes compared to its direct competitors is that the integration of these containers has been done with much more criterion and, precisely for this reason, in Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro the brand has managed to insert two with slightly greater capacity: that of clean water is 0.8L, while that of dirty water is 0.7L.
And this better management of the spaces intended for the containers which has allowed an increase in their capacity, has resolved one of the greatest limitations of this type of product: the autonomy of use and the need to empty and refill the water several times during a single cleaning. But, as we shall see, with the Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro the brand has solved several of them.
Starting from the general traction system of the scrubber dryer which is called SmoothPower and makes this scrubber dryer incredibly light and even if the previous models had something very similar, it was absolutely not so effective: the Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro it is the "lightest" scrubber dryer to use currently available on the market, because it is able to understand the movements that are made and to self-adapt bidirectionally.
The joint that joins the main body to the motorized brush has also changed, which has been improved by focusing on fluidity and which makes changes in direction, various movements, and the different inversions encountered during the cleaning phase much more comfortable.
To this is added a further hygiene system which constantly cleans the brush while the dirty water and dust are collected in order to optimize the entire cleaning process.
Then there is a new display and a new device control system. The screen is 3.6" and, thanks to the greater space, it is able to communicate all the information relating to the device in a much clearer way: in this way it will also be easier to scroll through the integrated functions, also thanks to a directional pad very comfortable to use and positioned at the right point.
I also appreciated the possibility of deactivating the voice commands, something taken for granted but impossible in the previous models, and it is possible to choose the language in which you want the Tineco voice assistant to speak because yes, the Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro it integrates a voice assistant which, however, in my opinion, is one of those functions that you can do without perfectly.
Finally one last news. Do you remember the biggest limitation of practically all washer dryers on the market? Given the thickness of the motorized brush, with these devices it was practically impossible to clean the areas close to the skirting boards. Well: the Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro integrates an optimized brush on both sides that leaves poco more than a millimeter on each side.
Suction and washing
The four different cleaning modes (automatic, maximum, ultra and suction) are also controlled with the small pad, but I continue to advise you to use the automatic one in most cases: Tineco's iLoop technology has improved steadily over the years and , thanks to some sensors, is able to understand the amount of dirt present on the surface and to autonomously adapt both the suction power and the quantity of water to be distributed on the floor. Of course, in some particularly dirty areas it could be ideal to use the maximum power, but in principle it is better to use the automatic mode because in this way not only does the battery life be optimized, but also the average water consumption.
Cleaning then takes place via a balanced pressure system which, with a constant flow of 450 times per minute, guarantees an almost perfect wash and far superior to previous generations. Furthermore, the water distributed on the floor is electrolysed.
And it also works very well with hair and pet hair: this is probably the scenario in which you realize the advantages of using a water system because, once cleaning is finished, just empty the water tank and give it a rinse.
Of course, the brush thickness limit remains, which is actually much more important than what we would find in a normal vacuum cleaner, and the body cannot be inclined to such a degree as to allow it to be used under the most cramped furniture: essentially , if Tineco were able to solve this problem too, it would bring a practically perfect washer-dryer to the market.
Once you have finished cleaning the floor, it is time for one of the most convenient functions of the Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro: self-cleaning. Using it is very simple: at the end of a cleaning (or if the indicator lights up), just place the vacuum cleaner on the charging base, empty the dirty water container and fill the clean water container and press the dedicated button.
The novelty is that you can choose between two self-cleaning modes: there is the fast one, which lasts about 2 minutes, and the "deep" one which will go on for about 6 minutes.
Smart application and functions
Then there is a smartphone app. Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro connects to the wireless network and connects to the Tineco app, available for both iPhone and Android. Let me be clear, this is an "extra" which could be totally done without, but having all the information relating to the vacuum cleaner available on a smartphone could be a convenient thing for some people.
Pairing with the app is super easy and will take a maximum of 2 minutes. from here on you can check the state of charge of the battery, the state of clean and dirty water, change the voice or start the automatic cleaning if the vacuum cleaner has been placed on the charging base.
Battery life
The battery life is also good. The brand guarantees up to 40 minutes of use with a single charge, but I won't hide from you that on some occasions I have even managed to exceed this value: of course, these are performances that can be achieved if you clean a floor that is not particularly dirty, but the technology iLoop in this case gives many tangible advantages.
Average charging speed: for a full charge the Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro it can take about 4 hours.
Price and considerations
The sale price of the Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro it is 799,00 euros on Amazon and yes, probably its biggest limitation is precisely the fact that to buy it it will be necessary to pay a considerable amount. Of course, all this technology comes at a price, but unfortunately the world of washer-dryers has also been affected by the uncontrolled increase in prices in recent years.
However, it must be said that this is a model in which it is very clear that the brand has tried to solve most of the typical problems of these products, and with more capacious containers, the bidirectional traction system, the large display, the electrolysis and above all with the "borderless" brush I would say that it has partially succeeded.
Tineco FLOOR ONE S7 Pro it's undoubtedly the best scrubber cleaner out there, but it's not perfect: the brand should think about a brush drying system after self-cleaning and, above all, find a way to reduce its thickness. At that point, it will approach perfection.
