M2 Max and Ultra arrive on Apple desktops: the new Macs arriving at WWDC

However, there is also a third configuration that uses the brand new M2 Ultra, that Apple will most likely present during the event. According to rumors, this chip will double the specifications of Max M2, we could then have a CPU a 24-core, one GPU a 60-core and up to 192 GB of RAM. Indeed, a special version of the chip with GPU a 76-core.

Rumors suggest that M2Ultra was originally intended for the Mac Pro, however it may be implemented in a new version of the MacStudio (which currently uses the M1 Max and M1 Ultra chips).
