Although a little slower than what we saw last year, the world of cordless electric brooms continues to be enriched with new protagonists, in which the cheapest models are now the masters. And this is so not only because the crisis has affected sales prices, causing them to skyrocket as we have seen happen in the smartphone sector, but because brands have managed to enrich even the lowest-end models with features that, up to some long ago, we would have found only in the most expensive models.

Made of cardboard and totally monochromatic, the packaging of proscenic P12 it is very basic, but full of accessories of all types especially when compared to that of direct competitors in its price range.

Design and materials
The design of the proscenic P12 is one of those who “either hate each other or love each other”. Although the cut lines and the very "angular" body to which the brand has accustomed us in recent years disappear a little, the aesthetic choice of the cordless electric broom continues to be far from the rounded shapes to which other brands have accustomed us. The whole body is protected by an excellent gray polycarbonate which, accompanied by a series of light gray inserts and a totally transparent area near the motor, make the vacuum cleaner decidedly beautiful to look at.
The classic pistol grip continues to be present, with an easily accessible trigger with which the vacuum cleaner can be turned on or off: the operation is of the "on / off" type and, in a nutshell, it will not be necessary to always press the trigger to operate the device.
In the back there is an LED display that integrates a touch button with which you can manage the 3 different suction modes. Also on the screen, you will be able to have a whole series of information, such as the remaining charge, the mode in use and any need for maintenance.
Nothing new as regards the capacity of the tank, which continues to be 0,6 liters and is positioned slightly above the market average even if one thing must be underlined, because the brand says something else: if you go and see in the product page on Amazon, the brand declares a dirt container of 1.2L, the point is that this measurement does not consider the size of the volume relating to the 5-stage HEPA filter nor does it mention the fact that, having reached half the capacity, it will need to be emptied. For this reason it is more correct to say things as they are: no, the fuel tank proscenic P12 it is not 1.2L, but it is 0.65L.
The enhanced anti-tangle brush is excellent, which also has a replacement roller and integrates very bright green LEDs which are used to find the smallest specks of dust and which can be connected to a telescopic tube of variable length.
What really disappointed me, however, is the wall-mounted charging base: regardless of the fact that I am not a fan of this type of solution, I much prefer the free-standing bases, but in that of the proscenic P12 yes, it is possible to house all the other accessories of the vacuum cleaner, but in a rather awkward and ugly way to look at.
Suction power
To animate the proscenic P12 a brushless motor capable of working at 80.000 rpm and guaranteeing a suction power of 33.000 Pa takes care of it, and it takes poco to arrive at the conclusion that we are talking about a very powerful cyclonic vacuum cleaner, all with a noise level of around 70 decibels at maximum power and 55 decibels at minimum.
Thanks to its suction power, the proscenic P12 in our tests it has always guaranteed excellent cleaning on practically all surfaces: you will practically never have to pass twice over an area to vacuum the dirt and, to be honest, for daily cleaning it will not even be necessary to increase the power suction via the touch button, because as soon as you turn on the cordless vacuum cleaner it starts with the second of the four modes, and it is already more than enough for daily cleaning.
And it also does well on different materials, such as vinyl carpets for the kitchen with which, unlike other competitor products, proscenic P12 avoid creating that very annoying cap effect.
All the accessories can be connected directly to the motor and do their job without any problems, even if it must be said that the lack of a smaller motorized brush could be felt a bit which, unfortunately, is not present in the package.
The only motorized brush present is the standard size one with which, thanks to the combination of the excellent rotating bristles and the great suction power, excellent results will be obtained and you will not have to worry about any residual hair or hair: at the small blades have been placed inside it for this very purpose.
Thanks to a weight of the body alone of 1.95 KG and the presence of two large rubber wheels positioned in the motorized brush, proscenic P12 it is among the most manageable cyclonic vacuum cleaners of recent times, and it is above all for a very important detail: the brush joint mechanism.
The structure can rotate 180 degrees when stationary, which also makes it possible to make very tight "curves" and reach the most annoying points of the house, such as those under chairs, under tables or under furniture.
Battery life
The battery of proscenic P12 it is removable and has an autonomy of 2600 mAh capable of guaranteeing an average autonomy after all. With the maximum suction mode you can use the vacuum cleaner for poco less than 15 minutes, while with the silent one it will even reach 60 minutes.
The good thing is that it can also be recharged while not connected to the vacuum cleaner so, if you had an extra battery, you could clean the house and recharge the other at the same time.
