After getting acquainted with the new models of the Reno 9 series it's time to also think about the premium range of the Chinese house, OPPO Find X6 and X6 Pro. Since it made its official return to Europe, OPPO has focused a lot on creating flagships with fine specifications and with a certain touch of originality, whether it is in the look or in the technical choices. Let's take stock of the situation on the new top of the OPPO range between technical specifications, design, features, price and market release.
OPPO Find X6 and X6 Pro: everything you need to know about the new flagships
Design and display
The series OPPO consists of two models namely Find X6 and Find X6 Pro; in the past there have also been rumors of a possible Pro+, but apart from a few hints there has been no more news. Returning to the new flagships, the design undergoes a radical change in style, with a new photo module circular in the center of the body, divided between an upper section in glass with the Hasselblad logo in sight and a lower one in polished metal, all with IP64 (X6) certification/IP68 (X6Pro).
OPPO Find X6 has a 8,96 mm thick shell for a weight of 207 grams, in the Feiquan Green, Starry Black and Snow Mountain Gold colors. Frontally there is a curved screen AMOLED with technology LTPO, a solution da 6,74 "Full HD + (2.772 x 1.240 pixels) with a refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz and 360Hz touch sampling; it is a defined Pro XDR panel with a maximum brightness of 1.450 nits.
The Pro model features a 9,1 mm (or 9,5 mm, depending on the color) thick body, 218/216 grams in weight, Desert Silver, Cloud Black and Feiquan Green colors for a more advanced curved AMOLED LTPO screen from 6,82 "Quad HD + (3.168 x 1.440 pixels) and a record brightness from 2.500 nits.
The panel of the Pro version is protected by glass Gorilla Glass Victus 2; in this too we have up to 120 Hz of refresh rate and a sampling of the touch up to 240 Hz.
Both smartphones are equipped with a fingerprint reader positioned below the screen and also offer the Face Unlock 2D. The Desert Silver Moon version of the Pro model features a shell in a dual material, with the lower part made with a textured imitation leather.
Technical specifications and features
Starting from the basic model, the technical specifications of OPPO Find X6 they are based on the MediaTek chipset Dimensity 9200, denying the rumors of its use on a separate special version; this means a 4nm SoC and with Cortex-X3 octa-core CPU up to 3,05 GHz and Immortalis-G715 MC11 GPU, supported by 12 / 16 GB of RAM LPDDR5X e 256 / 512 GB memory UFS 4.0 not expandable.
A board Find the X6 Pro instead we find it Snapdragon 8 Gen2, also at 4 nm, with Cortex-X3 CPU up to 3,2 GHz and Adreno 740 GPU, supported by 12 / 16 GB of RAM LPDDR5X e 256 / 512 GB of non-expandable UFS 4.0 space.
For the battery, Find X6 is powered by a unit from 4.800 mAh with SuperVOOC fast charging a 80, while the Pro model has a more capacious 5.000 mAh with SuperVOOC a 100, to which the recharge is also added wireless da 50. On the software side we obviously have Android 13 in the form of ColorOS 13.1; other specifications include Dual SIM 5G support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Dual-frequency GPS, IR sensor (on both models9), X-Axis vibration motor and stereo speaker.
Camera
The photographic sector of OPPO Find X6 is made up of three sensors from 50 + 50 + 50 MP f/1.8-2-2.6, with 890/1 "Sony IMX1.56 main sensor and OIS stabilization, which is flanked by a 1/1" Samsung JN2.8 ultra-wide angle and a Sony IMX890 periscopic telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom but which according to OPPO it boasts an “optical zoom” quality even at 6x; this feature will allow him to achieve one zoom 120x (digital) to capture extremely distant subjects.
Then there is Find the X6 Pro and its most advanced photographic sector, always 50+50+50 MP but with Sony main sensor IMX989 da 1.0″-type with OIS; the Sony IMX890 sensor is instead used for both the ultra-wide angle, also equipped with lenses free form to correct geometric distortions, and for the periscope telephoto lens.
All supported by the proprietary ISP HusbandSilicon X and from the collaboration with Hasselblad (Pro, Natural Color and XPAN modes). Both models of the Find X6 series are equipped with a Sony IMX709 selfie camera 32 MP f/2.4 with autofocus.
