After a first chapter with a unique look - with a transparent body and about 900 rear LEDs - we are curious to find out how it will be NothingPhone (2). The new smartphone will arrive in the course of 2023 and will reveal to us what is in store for us from the company of Carl Pei, historic ex of OnePlus. And now, thanks to teaser announcements and leaks, we know a few more details about what will be the improvements compared to the first generation.

In recent days, Carl Pei in person confirmed that this will be the year of the new one NothingPhone (2) and that the brand's next terminal will be more premium (we also have some nice ones concept render). It remains to be seen how much this will impact on the final price (not everyone is enthusiastic about it) and in the meantime what should be the novelties of the device emerge. Moving on to the specifications, we now know which chipset we will find on board. At MWC 2023 the company confirmed the presence of a Snapdragon 8 series (therefore 8 January 1, 8+ Jan 1 or 8 January 2), however a Qualcomm executive teased something more. The Senior VP and General Manager Alex Katouzian published a post, promptly removed, in which he congratulated Carl Pei for the collaboration with Qualcomm, also revealing the chipset. Nothing Phone (2) will be part of the medium-high range and will have on its side lo Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. Memory side we will find at least 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage, with support for Virtual RAM.

As for the battery there will be a step forward with a unit from 5.000 mAh (compared to the 4.500 mAh of the first chapter). The display will again be a unit AMOLED a 120 Hz, but details on the diagonal and resolution are missing. The debut should take place during the second half of the year, presumably during Q3 2023 (i.e. between July and September).
