During the presentation event of the new smartphones, Huawei took the opportunity to also unveil the new flagship smartwatch: a small technological jewel full of style and elegance. We are of course talking about Huawei Watch Ultimate, which introduces satellite connection on wearables for the first time.
Super resistance and satellite connection: here is the Huawei Watch Ultimate
On the occasion of the presentations of Huawei P60 e Huawei Mate X3, the Chinese company has unveiled the official details of Huawei Watch Ultimate, a smartwatch equipped with a display LTPO AMOLED 1.5″ circular, with refresh rate supported up to 60 Hz. The source point of this new device seems to be the battery: a unit from 530 mAh which according to the Chinese company is able to offer at least 14 days of range on a single charge for normal users, while more active users could go up to 8 days. The battery is recharged via Qi wireless, in just 60 minutes.
The smartwatch is also equipped with sensors for monitoring heart rate, blood oxygen and ECG measurement. Huawei Watch UltimateFurthermore, it is equipped with 16 water resistant structures, which allow immersion in deep water up to 110 meters. The certifications obtained by the device, in fact, are ISO 22810 and EN13319.
The new Ultimate is also able to exploit the Expedition Mode: a particular mode designed for those who love to go hiking outdoors. Thanks to GNSS with dual frequency and five systems, the smartwatch can always get an accurate location to never get lost.
As mentioned above, Huawei Watch Ultimate it is equipped with a satellite connection for sending and receiving information. In this way, in the event of an SOS, it is possible to automatically send your position even in the absence of a mobile network.
Huawei Watch Ultimate – Prices and availability
Huawei Watch Ultimate will be available in Europe from April 3 in two different versions: Expedition Black or Voyage Blue. Currently only the Chinese prices have been released, i.e. approx €800 (5999 yuan) for the rubber strap version and approx €940 (6999 yuan) for the top edition with metal strap. Official global prices will only be announced later.
