The first keyboard of the Chinese company was developed thanks to the program Featuring: this is an official initiative that focuses on users, their ideas and suggestions on upcoming products in the OnePlus ecosystem. A game of feedback and ideas that will materialize with a series of collaborations and OnePlus Featuring Keyboard 81 Pro is the first news.
The Asian company relied on Keychron's technology, which allowed OnePlus to make versatile keyboard switches. These are mechanical switches designed to fully satisfy users: Thanks to theOptimized touch switch and all 'linear switch extremely soft, the product manages to offer a comfortable and responsive experience in both cases. The keyboard is equipped with a double gasket, useful to ensure reduced noise and comfort that lasts all day, and a body in aluminum CNC CNC.
Another feature is the presence of Marble-mallow keys, i.e. made of a thermoplastic material that guarantees a soft rebound with each pressure.
OnePlus Featuring Keyboard 81 Pro has a premium style typical of the brand and is also completed with theAlert Slider, borrowed from the company's devices (including the latest OnePlus 11 e 11R). The key ESC presents the classic red color typical of OP while the knob rotating (semi-transparent) offers yet another stylish touch.
As far as compatibility is concerned, it is a solution that works perfectly with different operating systems, including MacOS, Windows, Linux and Android. Open-source firmware such as QMK and VIA complete the picture; the keys can be remapped and are equipped with lighting RGB.
