Design and materials
The charger BlitzWolf BW-S22 it is really small, in fact the dimensions are only 77.8 x 40 x 28 millimeters. The charger offers a flattened cubic shape, with rounded edges that smooth out the hardness of the lines, creating a sinuous soft effect.
The part "front” has two entrances USB-C that characterize this device, while on the “back” we find the EU plug (the classic also used in Italy) accompanied by a band of a more glossy black color that almost returns a metallic effect. The satin black, on the other hand, is not extremely dark, on the contrary, we could almost speak of an elegant mouse gray.
Hardware and Performance
BlitzWolf BW-S22 uses GaN (gallium nitride) technology to convey the great power of the charger in a very small form factor. This particular semiconductor material is much more efficient than common silicon and allows you to transfer a greater amount of energy by optimizing temperatures. In this case, the charger can easily achieve a power output of 35 W without ever overheating, even having very little (if not almost none) space available for dissipation.
As just mentioned, this charger is able to reach a charging power of 35 W, when only one device is connected via either port USB-C with Quick Charge 3.0. When both ports are connected, the charger will still reach a maximum output of 35W, but split it into 17.5 W for one device and 17.5W for the other.
