120w motor, 900 ml water tank, motorized brush capable of cleaning even under the edges of the skirting boards and drying with hot air. It is useless to go around too much, these characteristics make the new Dream H12 Pro one of the most complete wet scrubber vacuum cleaners on the market. There is poco to do.
Because let's face it, we have now reviewed all kinds of these products, and in all of them - until now - we have found the same, identical limits. Some were unable to clean into the corners of baseboards, others had to add water and empty the dirt container during cleaning, still others were not able to vacuum the dirt on the floor well, others they cleaned leaving everything wet.
Well, it is a long list of "problems" that with its new product those of Dreame have tried to solve, in some cases succeeding well, in others a little less. But sending a clear signal: the evolution of floor cleaning vacuum cleaners is still ongoing.

Design and materials
Made with an excellent quality and gray colored plastic shell, as well as all the brand's products Dream H12 Pro follows clean and minimalist design lines. Although water technology generally requires rather bulky structures, it is actually a rather compact product, which is characterized by a slightly lower weight than the market average: when empty, it weighs only 4 kg, which makes it very easy to handle also thanks to the excellent grip of the motorized brush which, when activated, will make it look like a featherweight.
In short, its massive appearance and its rather high weight are two decidedly deceptive elements: in reality the Dream H12 Pro it is a very simple device to use, even with one hand. It is true, however, that, given the size of the brush, it cannot be "slipped" under the lowest furniture or in the most confined spaces.
The capacity of the water tanks is decidedly good: the one for clean water is 900 milliliters, while the one for dirty water is 700 milliliters, which means that we are almost double the capacity compared to its direct competitor , the Tineco FLOOR ONE S5 Combo that we tested a few months ago.
The position of the handle is the usual one that we have seen in all the products of this category and is well thought out also for accessing the integrated control keys, while a display has been positioned above with which it will still be possible to keep all the relative information under control. to cleaning and the battery, including automatic suction power.
But it doesn't end there. In addition to the limit relating to the capacity of the water containers, in the Dream H12 Pro the problem of cleaning along the edges has been (almost) solved: the design of the motorized brush has been even more refined, and on the right side it has a very reduced thickness which allows good cleaning along the skirting boards.
Suction and washing
To animate the Dream H12 Pro a 120w power motor takes care of it, which makes the brand's new vacuum cleaner washer dryer among the most powerful on the market. Using it then continues to be very simple: just fill the container with clean water, which can also be enriched with the scented detergent included in the package, hold it and press the start button.
As in all the products of the brand in this category, there are two suction modes, the automatic one and the suction one, but in my opinion, it is always advisable to use it in the automatic mode, with which the device will manage the suction power (and the amount of water used) based on the dirt detected on the floor thanks to the sensor integrated in the motorized brush.
However, a clarification on the suction mode must be made: although the name may be misleading, it is a function that should not be understood as "dry suction". In all essence, this mode will not transform the Dream H12 Pro in a traditional type vacuum cleaner but it is designed to solve problems should liquids accidentally fall on the floor which will be very easy to suck up in a few seconds, without using the clean water present in the tank.
Really nothing to complain about the quality of washing which, thanks to the excellent motorized brush and suction power, is able to guarantee good level performance. And it is precisely thanks to the design of the motorized brush that it will be possible to vacuum without problems even near baseboards and furniture. In short, in terms of suction and washing of the floor the Dream H12 Pro it brings with it all the quality and power to which the brand has accustomed us over the years.
Even with the Dream H12 Pro then, once the floors have been cleaned and the device has been placed on the floor charging base, just press a single button to activate the automatic cleaning system so that the device starts cleaning itself using just water. But, even here, there is great news: after completing the process, Dream H12 Pro it will dry the brush roll using hot air, in order to avoid the formation of bad odours.
The concept is very similar to what we have seen in some floor cleaning robots equipped with rotating mops and totally solves the problem of the roller which, in the other models, always remained wet or at least damp.
In essence, when this function is activated, an automatic cycle will begin in which first of all the electrolysis of the water will be activated, then the suction pipes will be cleaned, then the roller will be rinsed which will then be dried first with a centrifuge and then with a flow of hot air at 55°. Well done Dreame. Despite this function, however, my advice is always the same: in addition to having to use this mode at the end of each wash, it is essential to empty and wash the dirty water container well after cleaning in order to avoid the formation of bad smells.
Dream H12 Pro it integrates 6 4000 mAh batteries, which justifies the not exactly low weight, which guarantee the device to exceed 35 minutes of autonomy in automatic mode.
Of course, this is a highly variable factor based on the amount of dirt on the floor, but in general the performances are decidedly good. On the other hand, the recharge is average: for a recharge from 0 to 100 it could take from 4 to 5 hours.
Price and considerations
The official price of the Dream H12 Pro it is 549,00 euros on Amazon but, through the box below, you could buy it on offer with a 22% discount which brings the figure down to 429,00 euros. Of course, it remains a product that charges itself, but it is important to keep in mind that the Dream H12 Pro could be considered as the top-of-the-range model in the world of water-powered vacuum cleaners.
With its new device, Dreame's commitment to solving what were considered the biggest limitations of these products is clear: the water containers are super-capacious, the motor is powerful, the cleaning process is the most complete seen in circulation and the design of the brush greatly reduces the cleaning gap along the edges.
If you really had to find fault with the Dream H12 Pro they would be in the display, which I would have liked to see a little more "evolved" and in the impossibility of being able to bend the brush structure to 180 degrees in order to clean under furniture. Other than that, it's a really great product.
