Of all the manufacturers in the Android world, Xiaomi was practically the last to announce its version of the major update that will accompany the release of Android 13. While companies like Samsung, OPPO and of course Google have already started releasing the new update on their smartphones, Xiaomi has kept its users waiting but now it's only a matter of time before the first roll-out.

For the moment, that of Xiaomi is a preliminary announcement with which it limits itself to anticipating what will be the actual presentation of MIUI 14. The post on the Chinese community gives some cryptic details, such as the desire to make its own software system "the leanest and lightest of all".
