Design and display
The reason why fans might have to complain is certainly about the design: the Xiaomi Band 7 Pro puts aside the historic and iconic “capsule” style in favor of a look more like that of a smartwatch. The general atmosphere is reminiscent Redmi SmartBand Pro, with a large rectangular display. The edges are quite optimized and the final result is pleasant: however, those who have loved the unique style of the Band series may not like this change of course. Probably the new design will remain the prerogative only of the Pro versions (we dare to make predictions far ahead in time) while the “standard” models will continue with the usual style.
Returning to Xiaomi Band 7 Pro, the wearable adopts a display AMOLED da 1.64" with a resolution of 456 x 280 pixels, an ambient light sensor (for the brightness automatic), the function Always-On Display and a pixel density of 326 ppi; the strap is available in various colors and has a proprietary hook (with a Cupertino-style clip). The end result is certainly more like a smartwatch than a fitness tracker while the screen is larger than that seen on the Band 7.
We then have a body with impermeability up to 5 TMJ, many watch faces (over 180) to choose from and a more premium overall impression than the base model.

As for the various technical specifications and features of Xiaomi Band 7 Pro, we have various news. First the battery is a unit of 235 mAh, with an autonomy of 12 or 6 days, depending on the intensity of use. Obviously there is no lack of the usual functions for health and fitness: beyond 117 sports modes (including 10 courses for running with various levels of training), H24 monitoring of theheart activity, detection SpO2, sleep control and stress levels, all with greater accuracy.
The real novelty is represented by the GPS integrated, finally aboard a Band series device. The latest Xiaomi Band 7 Pro integrates GPS / Glonass / Galileo / QZSS support, for maximum precision: the device can be used during training even if you have a smartphone. Do not miss theNFC for contactless payments (only on the Chinese model, however); also there is a microphone to be able to call up the voice assistant XiaoAI (as in the classic Band 7).
Xiaomi Band 7 Pro - Price and availability
After being presented in China at a cost of 400 yuan, about € 57, Xiaomi Band 7 Pro is officially launched in Italy from 7 October at the price of €99,90 in the two colors Black and Ivory; those who buy it in the first two weeks in Xiaomi stores will be able to buy it at €79,90.
