Android 12 begins to come true for the Xiaomi Pad 5 family
If it took time before Android 12 started being developed for the Xiaomi Pad 5, it is also and above all for the problems encountered during the porting phase. Fortunately, it seems that they have been fixed, since in the latest versions of the MIUI 13 Beta we have witnessed the transition from Android 11 to 12. Starting from version 22.6.2, the new release of the Android operating system has arrived on both Xiaomi Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro in Wi-Fi and 5G versions. For the moment, however, the update remains confined exclusively to the Beta branch of MIUI and only for China.

It took months, but finally the update to Android 12 is coming to Xiaomi Pad 5. And it does so with the most recent MIUI Pad released with build V13.1.2.0.SKXEUXM, that is the MIUI 13.1 EEA. However, we are still facing a release Stable Beta, therefore initially intended for beta testers who are part of the Mi Pilot program.
