Like every month, even for the last one April there is the ranking Antutu to reveal to us what the more powerful smartphone circulating in the Android world. A ranking that in this round sees a podium dominated in its entirety by the category of gaming smartphones, traditionally the best performing machines that can be found in the sector.
The Antutu ranking of the most powerful smartphones is almost exclusively in the hands of Qualcomm
The first three positions are therefore occupied by a high-profile triptych: Black Shark 5 Pro, Red magic 7 pro e Lenovo Legion Y90. Three smartphones in direct competition, as they aim to become the reference product for those looking for the most powerful smartphone in the gaming field. Each is characterized by individual characteristics: Black Shark 5 Pro has physical pop-up buttons, Red Magic 7 Pro has a selfie camera under the screen and Lenovo Legion Y90 two internal fans. But there is one element that all three share: I refer to the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, another absolute protagonist of the Antutu ranking.
If you scroll through the ranking, in fact, almost all of the smartphones listed on Antutu are based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen1. Leaving the podium, we find Article 9 e 9 Pro, but also vivo X Notes, iQOO Neo 6, Xiaomi 12 Pro e Realme GT2 Pro. The only white fly is represented by the vivo X80, the only smartphone in the ranking to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000.
Putting aside the top of the range, the Antutu ranking also informs us of which are the most powerful smartphones for medium / high range. In this case, Qualcomm's dominance is less marked: it Snapdragon 870 is aboard iQOO Neo 5 and Neo 5 SE, Realme GT Neo 2 and GT Master Explorer Edition, OPPO Find X3 and Reno 6 Pro + 5G. But there is also MediaTek with his Dimensity 8100 on Redmi K50 and Realme GT Neo 3 but also the Dimension 1200-AI on Realme GT Neo 2T.
Here is the April ranking of the most powerful smartphones in the world | Update 13/05
After the focus on the Chinese market, Antutu's ranking moves towards the Global panorama, including both international and terminal models that only arrived in certain markets. Here too we notice two recurring details: the total domination of Qualcomm and its own Snapdragon 8 Gen1 and a top of the range from Gaming at the top. At the top of the ranking we find a device of this type but it is the only model. The question is because Red Magic 7 (albeit from 18 / 256 GB) and not the big brother Pro?
Global commercialization of the latter it left at the end of April, so it is reasonable to assume that we will find it in the next ranking (the one relating to the month of May). It then continues with Redmi K50 Pro, the only one on the list moved by the Dimensity 9000, and Xiaomi 12 Pro. Lei Jun's house dominates the podium with two models, but fails to overcome the power of Red Magic. Unlike the Chinese ranking we note the absence of alive, while there are three models Samsung Galaxy.⭐️ Discover the new Weekly Flyer of GizChina with always different exclusive offers and coupons.
