Inside the MIUI 13 there is a secret menu to test Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO
If you are a particularly geek Xiaomi user, you may have heard of a secret menu: know that it is also present within MIUI 13. I refer to a special feature that Xiaomi has implemented to allow users and repairers to test the hardware of devices. A useful feature if you have a Xiaomi, Redmi and smartphone or tablet POCO which is having malfunctions. Before sending it for assistance, in some cases it may be useful to use it. Here's how to access it:
- Open Settings
- Click on "System info"And select the item"All specifications"
- Click repeatedly on the item "Kernel version"
There is also another method, which is to type the number into the telephone dialer * # * # * # * # 6484. Either way, you will have access to the so-called CIT menu that Xiaomi has also included within the MIUI 13. An acronym that stands for Control and Identification Toolbox and which indicates the menu from which you can test all (or almost) the hardware components of the phone.
