vivo x Fold

The next 11th April the Chinese company will present its first leaflet to the world, vivo X Fold: it is a smartphone that has created a lot of expectations and here they grow further thanks to the official images published by the same company. Let's find out what the newcomer actually looks like and what awaits us in terms of style!

vivo X Fold: official images and videos of the first folding smartphone of the Chinese brand

Let's start immediately with the first feature: as shown also by the initial teasers, vivo X Fold features an inward folding panel, similar to Samsung Galaxy ZFold 3, Xiaomi MIX Fold ed OPPO Find N. We therefore have a large flexible screen that can fold on itself and an external display. In both cases there is a punch hole for selfie cameras and also an integrated fingerprint reader; the outer screen has curved edges.

Along the right frame there are the power button and the volume rocker; on the opposite side there is a switch that looks like an Alert Slider (to change the settings relating to the ringtone without going through the various menus). The back houses a large rectangular module, which in turn contains a Quad Camera circular, the Flash LED and a rear microphone.

The official store of vivo also confirmed various specifications of the X Fold: the terminal is equipped with a foldable display AMOLED E5 da 8.05" with resolution 2K +, technology LTPO and refresh rate a 120 Hz. Obviously the heart of the device is Snapdragon 8 Gen1, Qualcomm's latest top solution. Moving on to the rest of the features, we expect a 4.600 mAh battery with charging from 66 (Also wireless, from 50W) and a Quad Camera from 50 + 48 + 12 + 8 MP with a Samsung GN1 main sensor, wide angle, a 2X optical zoom lens and a telephoto lens a periscope (also visible from the official renderings). The external display should be a 6.53 ″ Full HD + 120Hz unit.
