We've been talking about the debut of OnePlus North 2T, a device that will bring the T nomenclature to the mid-range for the first time. A promise of power (and also demanding) but which so far has clashed with a style that may not be all that exciting: that the desire to amaze is… too much?

From the first sketches to the concept renderings based on leaks, one detail has always been clear: OnePlus aims to revisit a trite and retired style, offering a reinterpretation capable of polarizing. Obviously at the moment it is only and exclusively indiscretions and it is not known whether OnePlus North 2T will have this layout of the camera. However, the device would have been immortalized in one shot from vivo, which shows us both its particular camera and the back cover in sandstone.
The image in question, almost certainly coming from a prototype (we hope), shows a “renewed” photographic module compared to the models released so far. We find the vertical positioning and a rectangular panel, we have a large main sensor and an additional space containing the two secondary modules. Along the right side find space a Flash LED and a sensor for the ambient light (as reported by the source).
In addition, there are also details on the specifications of the camera: we are talking about a Sony IMX766 from 50 MP (f / 1.9) with OIS stabilization, accompanied by an IMX355 wide angle lens from 8 MP (f / 2.25) and a monochrome from 2 MP (f / 2.4).
