After rumors started last year (even if in reality we could go even further back in time) here it is OPPO pad is finally official and aims to undermine the Xiaomi rival with a lot of style, power and multimedia.
OPPO Pad arrives in China: here's all about price and features
The first tablet of OPPO it does not miss anything and points to the throat of Xiaomi e of its latest and highly anticipated Hall 5. We already got a taste of the design over the past few days: OPPO Pad features a metal body with the brand logo in the form of a stylish texture. The body has a thickness of 6.99 / 7.05 mm and a weight of 507/510 grams, depending on the color (Black or Violet).
Frontally we have a large display with optimized edges, one unit LCD by 11 " WQHD + (2560 x 1600 pixels) with advanced refresh (at 120 Hz) and 4096 pressure points. For the occasion, the Chinese house also launched OPPO Pencil, his first smart pen (and also in this case it challenges Xiaomi). It is a light and minimal solution, weighing just 16.5 grams.
The heart of the tablet is the Snapdragon 870, the same chipset seen on board xiaomi pad 5 pro (our Pad 5 is the basic version with Snap 860). Memory side we have 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage. The battery is a capacious 8.360 mAh unit, with 33W wired fast charging. The back of the OPPO Pad houses a single camera from 13 MP, accompanied by an LED flash; the selfie camera is an 8 MP sensor. There is no shortage of Wi-Fi 6, Dolby Atmos support and a multi-layer heat dissipation system with a large surface.
With its first tablet OPPO also launched ColorOS for Pad, a special version of its proprietary interface, optimized for this type of device. Obviously it is based on Android 11 and ColorOS 12 and there are various utilities such as split screen and multi-screen.
the brand new OPPO Pad was launched together to gamma Find X5 but only China will arrive, at the starting price of €325 at the exchange rate (2299 yuan) for the 6/128 GB version. The 6/256 GB and 8/256 GB models are offered at approx €381 e €424 at the current exchange rate (2699/2999 yuan). Finally there is a limited edition Silver sold at approx €495 (always in the maximum configuration). For the moment there are no details regarding a possible launch in Europe and we await news.
