OPPO thinks about the evolution of Find N: how the next folding could be

The Chinese brand made its debut in the sector of smartphone folding and he did it in style, with an economical and complete terminal, characterized by an easy-to-handle format. OPPO Find N it is a real gem - as seen also in ours review - and we are curious to find out what other innovations the company has in store for us. A patent makes us dream and allows us to take a first look at a hypothetical smartphone Dual fold.

OPPO Find N Dual Fold appears in a patent: is it the future folding of the brand?

The document in question dates back to July 2021 with approval on February 1 2022, at the Chinese offices dedicated to intellectual property. Looking at the details and images that are present within the patent, it is easy to think of a possible successor to OPPO Find N: the first smartphone folding of the Chinese brand debuted with a similar format and it is reasonable to assume that OPPO is already working on the second chapter. The device features a two-point folding display, with a double zipper; in short, a natural evolution for the series or a new beginning. We do not know - obviously - if it will be OPPO Find N 2 or an unreleased range. We are also talking about a patent, ergo it may never become reality.

However, it is a plausible technology, even in light of the latest news shown by Samsung with its prototype Flex S. Returning to the alleged OPPO Find N Dual Fold, the external panel houses a punch hole for the selfie camera. In the case of the internal display - presumably about 7 ″ - there are no holes. Let there be one built-in camera under the display (as for Galaxy z fold 3)?

The real novelty is represented by the second hinge: its purpose could be aimed at using the main camera for self-portraits. There are no precise details but we remember that it is still a patent and we just have to wait for further news (if there will be any).
