Apparently, the design initially rumored to Realme GT2 Pro it was just a prototype. The images revealed a smartphone similar to Huawei Nexus 6P, but the official images published by Realme tell us a completely different story. The look adopted for the photographic module will resume the one seen on Realme GT Neo 2, that is a rectangular module placed at the top left. A choice quite in line with modern standards, but the focus chosen by the company will be anything but.
Realme GT 2 Pro Master Design and Paper Tech: everything starts from paper
On the occasion of the preview event of the past few days, there was talk of how Realme GT 2 Pro will innovate in three ways. In addition to the camera and connectivity, the other aspect will be that of design, but not in terms of shapes, as the images in question reveal. The smartphone will again be co-designed with the famous designer Naoto Fukasawa, with whom he collaborated for the realization of the Master Editions of the series GT, X2 e X.
On the occasion of the new GT 2 Pro, the one that is defined will be adopted Paper Tech Master Design. As pointed out at the aforementioned event, Realme is aiming for more eco-sustainable choices, starting with the packaging, made with only 0,3% plastic and soy ink.
The Paper Tech technology will be directly inspired by the paper, starting from the materials used. Collaboration with SABIC involves the use of a shell in bio-polymers derived from organic compounds such as paper pulp and fallen leaves.
In purely aesthetic terms, here comes the work of Naoto Fukasawa, who for the occasion has chosen the paper texture to characterize the body of the phone. You can appreciate the detail in the macro above, where we see a design with a micro-wave texture that runs through the entire back cover, except for the photographic module and the logo section.
