Very little is missing from the presentation of the OPPO Reno 7 family, which should be composed of a triptych of models. And no, this time around there shouldn't be the Pro + model seen with the current generation, replaced by an SE model. However, in this article we will focus on the two main models, namely OPPO Reno 7 e Reno 7 Pro. A well-known leaker in the sector has in fact decided to spill the beans, revealing what should be the ones differences between the respective technical specifications.

Here is what would be the differences between OPPO Reno 7 and its Pro model

Dimensionally speaking, OPPO Reno 7 would have a diagonal from 6,43 ", while its Pro model would rise to 6,55 ". In both cases we would talk about screens AMOLED Full HD + (2400 x 1080 pixels) in 20: 9 with density of 409 and 402 PPI. The refresh rate would remain at 90 Hz on both, but the sampling of the touch would change, at 180 Hz on the first and at 240 Hz on the second.

The other big difference between the two would be under the hood, with OPPO Reno 7 being based on the Snapdragon 778G Qualcomm invoice. Manufactured at 6nm, it is a SoC with 670GHz Kryo 2,4 octa-core CPU and Adreno 642L GPU. Conversely, the Pro model would have the MediaTek chip on its side Dimensity 1200-Max, new variant of which we do not yet know the specifications. Recall that the base model of the Dimensity 1200 is at 6 nm, with a 3,0 GHz CPU and Mali-G77 MC9 GPU and the “Max” nomenclature would seem to point to something larger.

The memory cuts would also change, from 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB on the base model and from 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB on the Pro one. On the contrary, the battery would remain unchanged, from 4.500 mAh and with Super VOOC 2.0 support a 65W for both, weighing 185 g and 180 g.

The other dividing line between OPPO Reno 7 and 7 Pro will be represented by the photographic sector. On the base model there would be one 64 + 8 + 2 MP with OV64B sensor, OV08D wide angle and GC02M1. On the Pro one, however, there would be one 50 + 8 + 2 MP with Sony IMX709 sensor, IMX355 wide angle and OV02B10. The selfie camera would instead be the same, that is a Sony IMX709 from 32 MP embedded in a screen punch-hole. Also noteworthy is the fact that Reno 7 will introduce the so-called "Cat-Eye camera".
