Over-ear headphones, i.e. very large ones, in recent times are often divided into wireless relaxation models (with ANC) and studio ones. And then there are those hybrid solutions, perhaps for those who want to do both. As in the case of wireless over-ear studio headphones OneOdio Pro C (or Y80B) protagonists of ours review: will they be able to do what they are meant to do?
OneOdio Pro C (Y80B) review
Package Contents
The OneOdio Pro C headphones box in review is the classic packaging that the brand reserves for its products, not too premium but well cared for and above all equipped with good accessories. In fact, inside, in addition to the headphones that we find in the always comfortable imitation leather bag, we find the cable 3.5 / 3.5 mm jack with built-in microphone and a Micro USB cable to recharge them, a little anachronistic but for how much they cost it's also fine.
Design and materials
Very similar in style to the Pro-50 e Pro-10 and we tried some time ago, but also at A70 always try together A10, OneOdio Pro C in review, despite being mainly in polycarbonate and with leatherette finishes, they give a good feeling to the touch. The materials are of excellent workmanship and the wear is really comfortable (but in the summer they heat the pavilions).
Smart functions
Being an over-ear headphones, i smart controls they are relegated to the physical keys that those who have tried this product like and prefer in this type of solution. Beyond subjectivity, they do their honest job of turning the volume up or down, turning on, playing, answering calls.
Unfortunately, historically, there is no application One hate that can fix or equalize. But, we repeat, for what they cost it is absolutely forgivable. Bluetooth 5.0 is all in all
Audio Quality - OneOdio Pro C
And let's get to the heart of this review: how the OneOdio Pro C? To be honest, they sound good. But with a serious "But". In the sense, wired do their great job with drivers from 50 mm and the impedance from 32 Ω, even Lossless music can bring you some satisfaction from entry level audiophiles and budding DJs as well.
As for general wireless listening, we are talking about a mid-range product. The sound is not very clean, you can listen well but don't ask for miracles when we listen to music in Bluetooth. On call, for a product not designed for this use after all, the quality is more than enough.
Autonomy
We can define the autonomy of these headphones on average. The OneOdio Pro C, with their battery from 1.500 mAh, they manage to take us several hours of listening but they are not infinite. Overall, they can last 50-60 hours on one charge and that's okay too.
OneOdio Pro C (Y80B) Review - Price and Conclusions
To draw the right conclusions on these OneOdio, you have to start (as often happens) from the price. Buying them on Amazon, the Pro C's are about 40-45 € and all in all the price is more than fair for what they offer.
For this, the headphones OneOdio Pro C should be recommended for those who want a good headset but without expecting one Sennheiser, but also to some guy who is entering the world of studio music to try to be a DJ, with the plus of being able to use them anywhere.
