This smartphone has been talked about over the months and over time more and more clues have led us to know what is the twin of Redmi K40 Game Edition, presented in China by Xiaomi some time ago. And like all the Redmi K series smartphones, this one was also marketed exclusively in the mother country. The reason is due precisely to the geographical dynamics of Xiaomi, which outside China usually brings only those Redmi belonging to the medium / low range.
For Europe and India instead, the medium / high-end Redmi are converted under the Xiaomi brand but above all POCO. And then, after POCO F3 (Redmi K40), the same happened with POCO F3GT which therefore is effectively the rebrand of the Game variant of the K40. And so it's no surprise that it pretty much has the same design, also given the presence of side triggers. For the colors, the same POCO confirmation Predator Black e Gunmetal Silver, the same as the Chinese twin.
Therefore, the display is also confirmed to be a punch-hole screen AMOLED da 6.67 "Full HD a 120 Hz, touch sampling a 480 Hz and support HDR10 +, 10-bit and DC Dimming, designed specifically to push yourself to the maximum in gaming sessions.

For the hardware sector, it is impossible not to start from the designated chipset, the same MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G not only present on the K40 Game, but also on the new one OnePlus North 2 and on Realme x7 max, rebrand of GT Neo. This solution would put POCO F3 GT competing with Red Magic 6R, Black Shark 4 e ROG Phone 5 (the latter with the due proportions). Looking at the memory, there is one RAM LPDDR4X divided a 6 e 8 GB e 128 / 256 GB of storage UFS 3.1.
The battery is still the same since 5.065 mAh with recharge 67W, therefore a potentially not bad sector. There is also a camera from 64 + 8 + 2 MP complete with lights LED RGB and 1G + 5P hybrid lens seen on K40 Game. The selfie camera is instead 16 MP. But above all they are present stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res certification, X-axis vibration, in addition to the aforementioned side triggers. And with the side triggers it is possible to set some features at the software level, such as it already happens just for the K40 Game or the Black Shark. Among other things, another hand for gaming is given by the microphone configuration of POCO F3 GT: there are three, one of which is dedicated to gaming sessions.
POCO F3 GT - Price and availability
The chapter price of the new POCO F3GT it is certainly one of the most interesting, given that this smartphone is in a competitive position on the market. In fact, the device in India starts from the configuration 6 / 128 GB with a price of approx €308 (26.999 rupees), and then switch to the version 8 / 128 GB from the cost of approx €331 (28.999 rupees) and finally the maximum version 8 / 256 GB which comes to around € 354 (30.999 rupees). Among other things, for the first two weeks of launch, they will also cost something less.
