Tineco iFloor 3 review: vacuums, LAVA (for real), cleans itself and ON SALE

I am a person with many qualities. I am tall, handsome, nice, above all modest (very modest 😂), but one of the negative sides of my character is definitely laziness. Why yes, I'm lazy and poco resourceful, especially when it comes to washing and cleaning the house. Not for nothing, in recent months, I have practically specialized in the reviews of robot vacuum cleaners, so as to let my technology slaves do the dirty work. And I am convinced that those of Tineco thought of people like me when they designed theiFloor 3.

And I think they thought of people like me because it is true that the best robot vacuum cleaners and floor cleaners are able to suck up dirt and polish the floor, but when you use such a device, human intervention is always necessary, both for remove the more consistent dirt than (and above all) for maintenance: the Tineco iFloor 3 is the "game changer" for lazy people (or those who have poco time), because it is a cordless vacuum cleaner that really sucks and washes the floor, eliminating even the most annoying stains, and in the end it cleans itself.

Tineco iFloor 3 review

Design and materials

Il Tineco iFloor 3 it has a typical structure for a cordless electric broom but, in terms of design, the appearance is very different from the slender and slender one of the vast majority of cyclonic vacuum cleaners. And the reason is the presence of two water tanks, one for the clean one and the other for the dirty one, which make Tineco's product much more clumsy than the more traditional models.

Poco bad, also because the Tineco iFloor 3 it is not equipped with a dirt container: thanks to the water, everything that will be sucked up will be brought into the container with the liquid, which will make general cleaning of the vacuum cleaner much simpler, more functional and less tedious to carry on.

La construction It is made of rigid plastic of excellent workmanship and thanks to its motorized components it will also have a substantial weight, ie approx 4,5 kg, but don't be scared, as we find a ergonomic handle and a rotating force of the roller that will make cleaning a lot easier, indeed, it will practically drag it on the floor, eliminating any possible effort.

You will therefore have no problems in using one hand. Furthermore, i power buttons and mode change are located right on the handle, so you don't even have to use the other one.

The motorized brush is not replaceable and certainly will not allow the use of the floor cleaning vacuum cleaner with angles close to 180 °, but its solid and well-designed structure will prevent water leaks from the tanks and the washing circuit: when using the vacuum cleaner, despite being sprayed with water under pressure on the floor, will never, ever find puddles of water.

The use of water for cleaning then made it necessary for Tineco to produce a waterproof body with IPX4 certification, which should not be underestimated precisely because liquids are at the center of cleaning with this device.

For the rest all the components are easily removable e washable, both by hand and through the automated process (later we will see it better). This once again confirms the ease of use and cleaning.

On board the Tineco iFloor 3 there is no LCD display, but indicators have been inserted in the upper part of the body with which you can check the battery status, the active suction power and the possible need to proceed with the automatic cleaning of the device: a very convenient function, which we will talk about shortly.

Suction and washing

Il Tineco iFloor 3 it is a much simpler model than the Floor One S3. It does not have WiFi, therefore no app, and does not integrate iLoop sensors, therefore no automatic mode. Poco bad, because what it does it does well and without too many frills: basically it always stands in upright position, which we can define as the position of stand-by since even when you turn it on it will not go into operation. To start cleaning you will have to recline it and then push the start button.

There are two suction modes, Eco and Max, and not only affect the quality of cleaning or the battery life, but also have a strong impact on the discharge speed of the water tank. This is perhaps the only compromise of the Tineco iFloor 3, because in the most powerful mode it will be necessary to fill the vacuum cleaner with clean water (and empty the dirty one) every 6 minutes.

But regardless of the cleaning mode used (I, for safety, I always use the maximum one), in these days of testing with the Tineco iFloor 3 I found myself very well, and the idea of washing and vacuuming at the same time is brilliant: unlike robot vacuum cleaners and floor cleaners that perform a polishing (and not washing) action, with the Tineco iFloor 3 all stains will go away, although it may take several passes in areas with more complex dirt, before completely removing the residue.

As already mentioned, there are two water tanks: the first must be filled with clean water and a glass of detergent included in the delivery and the other that collects theDirty water and dirt in general. Obviously the two never come into contact with each other, but they can be extracted separately to be filled or emptied.

This is where the system comes into play automatic cleaning, the real bonus of this Tineco iFloor 3. Using it is very simple: at the end of a cleaning (or if the indicator lights up), just place the vacuum cleaner on the charging base, empty the dirty water container and fill the clean water container and press the dedicated button.

In a few moments the Tineco iFloor 3 it will start to self-clean itself, and will do so using just the water, in order to eliminate any residual dirt not only from the suction circuit, but also from the motorized brush. Fantastic.

Battery life

Without going around it too much, the battery is certainly not the biggest limitation of the Tineco iFloor 3. The integrated module will allow you to clean an apartment of about 60 square meters with a single charge and at maximum power. But it is precisely with this level of suction that, to complete the cleaning of the same surface, it may be necessary to refill the water tank at least 2 or 3 times.

The charging times are in line with all the other products in the sector: for a full charge, from 0% to 100%, it could take about 4 hours.

Price and considerations

The sale price of Tineco iFloor 3 is 329,00 euros, but on Amazon it is possible to buy it on offer with a coupon of 49,00: to use it you will need to click on the box below, and then select the checkbox "Apply coupon 49,00 euros" on the page of the product on the store. And spend 280 € this could be the turning point for a product capable of vacuuming, washing (for real) and self-cleaning.

The merits of Tineco iFloor 3 are undoubtedly the immediacy of use, the simplicity of maintenance and the fact that it is really capable of washing floors. The point is, however, that those of Tineco should have thought about using slightly more capacious tanks (ok, at the expense of design and weight), because if you want to wash a 100 square meter apartment at maximum power, you will have to prepare psychologically to the fact of having to fill and empty the water tanks at least 3/4 times.

It is not exactly the best, but they are performances that for a daily cleaning could be more than enough, especially if you have a ceramic floor or parquet. For carpets and rugs, it is better to aim for another type of product.
