Everyone wants the MIUI 12.5: several months have passed since its presentation, but the release is now around the corner. At least in China, where the roll-out for the first compatible models is already party on a permanent basis. For us Global / EEA users we will still have to wait, probably the period between May / June. Until then, the only way to test the new UI is to rely on the program MIUI 12.5 Beta Testing. But know that from now on this initiative will be interrupted on some of the models present in the group of compatible ones.
The MIUI 12.5 Beta officially goes on pause on the Redmi Note 7 family
On the occasion of the release of the MIUI 12.5 Beta in version 21.4.21 / 22, the developers announced the stop of the update on three specific models. I'm talking about Redmi Note 7 e Note 7 Pro, Besides Xiaomi Mi CC9e which is not present with us. Or rather, it is present but in the form of Mi A3, therefore without MIUI instead of the Android One ROM. This means that from now on there will be no new MIUI 12.5 Beta ROMs for these devices.
This is valid for both the MIUI 12.5 China Beta and for the team port Xiaomi.eu, also destined to stop for these models. We would like to point out, however, that the MIUI 12.5 Stable will arrive and that the interruption of the Beta will not have a significant effect in this sense. However, if you encounter disabling bugs on 21.4.21 / 22 then you will necessarily have to wait for the release of MIUI 12.5 Stable. However, on Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro the roll-out should take place in a few months, so you will have to be patient.
