Design and features
As anticipated poco above, Xiaomi launched the new in India My Smart Speaker, a smart speaker equipped with Google Assistant and intended for the Global market. This is not a new solution, but a rebrand of XiaoAI Smart Speaker, which you see below in the Silver color (here you will find all the details on the Chinese model). Unlike the latter, the Indian variant is available only in Black color.
The device arrives with a premium look, with a body in opaque metal (131 x 104 x 151 mm for a weight of 853 grams), checks a touch and a LED strip along the upper perimeter. Inside there is a loudspeaker Full range 2.5 inch and 12W. Present audio support DTS e 2.0 stereo, with the possibility of connecting two speakers simultaneously, with stereo configuration. The smart speaker delivers two microphones integrated in the upper part.
Connectivity and full support for Google
Obviously thanks to the support a Google Assistant, Xiaomi Mi Smart Speaker can be controlled via i commands Voice. Also there is full compatibility with the app Google Home. On the connectivity side, the device offers both support for Bluetooth 4.2 and Dual Band Wi-Fi.
