Although the submission for Coronavirus has been postponed, Android 11 is in Google's plans. In Mountain View, work is being done to improve their OS on smartphones, with all the manufacturers waiting to be able to get their hands on it. Specially Xiaomi, whose MIUI team is usually among the first groups of developers to start working on it. At the moment there is still no timeline outlined for the official release of Android 11, but on the net there is already speculation on which smartphones will receive the coveted update.

Here are the update forecasts for Android 11 for Xiaomi and subsidiary smartphones
What will be the news?
It is still too early to get a total picture of the news that Google will implement in Android 11, but we already know something. We state that it will then be up to the individual manufacturers to implement them or not, so it is not certain that everything we are going to illustrate will be present on Xiaomi smartphones and related sub-brands.
Taking into consideration the Developer Preview so far released, for example, we know the native presence of the screen recording (already present in MIUI). As regards the notifications, a reorganization of the way Android manages them is planned. In the drop-down list they will be divided into categories, there will be a chronology of those received and it will also be possible to delete the persistent ones. Furthermore, during the recording of videos it will be possible to block them so as not to annoy us during the making of the clips.
In Android 11, the may appear Conversation Bubble, or the round icons on which to click to open the chat of the messaging apps in a floating window. In this regard, if you would like to have a very first taste of the aesthetics of Android 11, you can do it with Nova Launcher.
From the point of view of interaction with the device, Google has thought of a function of enhancement of the touch screen. A feature that would be useful especially with the use of a protective cover. Even the 5G will receive a refresh, with new APIs that will better support new networks.
Speaking of privacy and security, in Android 11 it will be possible to set a self-revocation of the permissions granted to apps that we haven't used for a long time. In addition, it will be possible to grant permits even only for one use and not in a perennial way.
Mention is also made of one modification of the UI of the recent apps, widening the windows of the running apps, but above all the addition of a Screenshot button to facilitate the operation. It also mentions the appearance of a key "Select”To copy / paste text on the screen more easily.
Other features found in the Android 11 Developer Preview are Bluetooth that does not turn off with the flight mode, being able to set your favorite apps at the top in the sharing menu or the Dark Theme that can be activated according to the time. Among the novelties that we may not see officially there are also the colored Quick Settings and the Power button menu with the integration of home automation controls.
Xiaomi: which smartphones will be updated to Android 11?
What's new aside, which Xiaomi home models will switch to Android 11? To date there is still no official news, if not the models for which it is being tested. In addition to these, we can outline a possible list based on the times shown in the past years.
