It is time to new updates for the mid-range duo consisting of Huawei P40 Lite and the oldest Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. Although they are not comparable, both as software and as hardware, both are getting a refresh at security patches. On the first we have a totally proprietary EMUI and far from the Google ecosystem, unlike the Android One OS that we find on the Xiaomi model.

The new update for Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite and Huawei P40 Lite updates the security sector
Xiaomi Mi A2 owners had a nice surprise with the last update, which introduced one feature much requested by users. Now a new update is coming, the MIUI 11 Global Stable, based on Android 10 and with the most recent patches of June. The changelog is very concise and does not reveal any further news, if not the classic improvements for system stability and security.
It goes equally to the most recent Huawei P40 Lite, since the update it is receiving is about the release EMUI 10.1.0.226 from 719 MB. Also in this case the update is small in the news and brings with it the patches of June.

After those of June, the July security patch make their appearance aboard Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. In these hours the update to MIUI 11.0.9.0.QDLMIXM Global Stable has been released, which you can download below. We remind you that this type of ROM must be installed via recovery, alternatively you can wait for the update to arrive.
