ROG Phone 3 on TENAA: data sheet, images and videos

They continue to be the various certifications are published su ASUS ROG Phone 3. The 2020 gaming smartphone is approaching, as demonstrated by the TENAA certification just popped up on the net. As always, it is one of the most relevant certifications, integrating details on the technical nowhere to be found elsewhere. It must be said that, being a gaming smartphone, we will find the "juice" in the software and in the additional features. But let's find out what specifications will characterize the device.

The next ROG Phone 3 ends up on the TENAA: here are the technical specifications

With code name I003DD, the TENAA certification of ASUS ROG Phone 3 is not the complete one in which we have all the useful data, but still reveals interesting details on the data sheet. For example the dimensions, equal to 171 x 78 x 9,85 mm: for comparison, ROG Phone 2 measures 171 x 77,6 x 9,5 mm. We therefore expect a substantially unchanged weight (or almost) around the 240 g. The panel remains unchanged, being marked by a diagonal from 6,59". It will be interesting to understand what refresh rate will be adopted by ASUS: maybe i 144 Hz which we also find on Red magic 5g? Slightly disappointing seems to be the battery, apparently a unit from 5.800 mAh, less than the 6.000 mAh of ROG Phone 2.

The specifications of ROG Phone 2 revealed by TENAA end here. But thanks to previous certifications we know it will have one Snapdragon 865  with at least 12 GB RAM and fast charge a 30.

Thanks to the complete certification and subsequent leaks, we now know what the ASUS ROG Phone 3 data sheet will be, as well as see it in the picture.

The images highlight theabsence of notch, with a "basic" screen that incorporates that of ROG Phone 2. You also notice the presence of a new sensor additional (a telephoto lens?), while the second side USB Type-C port remains in place. Also remains the double front speaker.

The debut of the new ASUS gaming smartphone is set for the end of summer (there is still no precise date), but the device has already given us a complete overview thanks to the images and specifications of the TENAA. The Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station thinks about creating even more hype, publishing a recap of the smartphone features, accompanied by the first image from vivo, which you see above (below instead, we have a short video hands-on).

Il ROG Phone 3 will have a back cover very similar to the predecessor, but this time with a triple camera equipped with a 64 MP main sensor. Frontally we will have an OLED panel from 6.59 "Full HD + (at 120 or 144 Hz) while moving everything we will find an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865, with a maximum frequency of 3.09 GHz.

The debut of ASUS ROG Phone 3 is set for the 22 July: very little is missing from the debut of the gaming smartphone and the rumors about the upcoming news are intensifying. After the TENAA data sheet, new details on the SoC that we will find on the device are emerging. Lenovo Legion has recently appeared on Antutu with the unpublished (and talked) Snapdragon 865 +, but it seems that even the rival branded ASUS will have this solution from his.

In fact, it seems that the official brand profile has mistakenly published the video you see above, promptly removed from the official channels. The teaser in question announces the arrival of the most powerful gaming smartphone, with the Snap 865+ on board.
