We are always the same with this series. OPPO launches in China its Reno line and, here in Europe, a different product arrives. This policy has already been applied several times by the Chinese brand, which also with Reno 3 Pro had decided to differentiate the two products. It could, therefore, behave in the same way also in this case, with Reno 4 Pro, proposing one Global variant different, in some respects, from that launched in China about a month ago.

Will OPPO Reno 4 Pro Global have a refresh rate of 120 Hz?

From what we could understand in these hours, several leakers would have had their say on this smartphone. It seems, in fact, that OPPO Reno 4 Pro is destined to arrive in Europe but in a slightly different guise from the one we already know. Not so much for the aesthetic profile, but more for some technical characteristics. Taking a look at these leak, therefore, someone fears the possibility that the refresh rate for our market it may be even higher. It would go, therefore, from 90Hz of the Chinese version to well 120Hz.

The chipset mounted on this smartphone could also change, but at the moment we do not know well which model the brand can opt for. In fact, I remind you that there is a SoC on this device Snapdragon 765G by Qualcomm. It is difficult to think, therefore, that OPPO can opt for such a different solution, given that the performance offered by this processor is already of the highest level. What do you think?

The possible release date leaks out Update 7/07

From what we could learn in these hours, OPPO Reno 4 Pro could also be announced outside of China soon. According to the latest rumors, in fact, it seems that the brand is intent on launching the product in India already in the next few days, probably the 20 July. We still do not know, however, if this variant will be marketed with some hardware changes compared to the Chinese model.

Taking a look at the most recent leaks, it seems that the Global variant will show a higher refresh rate, but only on the Pro model. We have to wait, therefore, some other confirmation in this regard, to understand if OPPO Reno 4 Pro will also arrive with a display refresh rate equal to 120Hz.

The Global variant of OPPO Reno 4 Pro is getting closer: the launch would be set for July 20 and now more precise details are coming regarding the specifications. The smartphone was the protagonist of a decidedly exhaustive unboxing video, which highlighted all the details of the device. At the top you find the video in question (the original has been removed from YouTube, so this may also be short-lived), while below in recap of the changes of this variant.

As anticipated earlier, OPPO Reno 4 Pro Global will have different specifications from its Chinese counterpart. The SoC Snap 765G gives way to Snapdragon 720G, solution voted for 4G and without support for the new connectivity standard. Furthermore, even the photographic sector looks very different: instead of a triple L-shaped camera we have a module consisting of four sensors, arranged in vertical.

The compartment should offer a main sensor from 48 MP telephoto da 13 MP and a wide angle da 12 MP; however, the identity of the fourth module is currently unclear. Also unlike the Chinese model we also find the 3.5 mm mini-jack input for headphones.

As for the display, we have a panel AMOLED da 6.55" with refresh rate a 90 Hz and a hole for the selfie camera. Again we find the fast charge Super VOOC 2.0 da 65W.

Through the official Twitter profile the Indian division of OPPO announced the release date of Reno 4 Pro in version Overseas hubs. According to reports, the flagship will debut in India on 31 July, during a dedicated online event. The new model of the company will therefore arrive outside the Chinese borders, as shown also by the multiple leaks of the last few weeks. Furthermore - as we have seen above - we should be faced with a slightly different technical sector compared to the variant presented in China.

The Global device should have it on its side Snapdragon 720G, thus putting aside 5G connectivity and focusing only on LTE networks. Furthermore it seems that also the photographic sector will be different: in fact we will have one Quad camera da 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP, with a macro sensor and a wide angle. Since a review never hurts, remember that OPPO Reno 4 Pro Chinese is equipped with a triple camera, a 48 + 12 + 13 MP solution with wide angle and telephoto.

As for the marketing of the Global variant, recent rumors report that the device will be on sale from August 5th, in the colors Starry Night and Silky White.

After revealing the release date and specifications, theOPPO Reno 4 Pro is shown in its entirety in the first images press render unofficial in the two colors black and white. You can see the four cameras crammed into a compartment of the same color as the shell and the curved display with the selfie camera punch hole top left. At first glance, it is very reminiscent of the brother Find the X2 Neo, which was the version Overseas hubs di OPPO Reno 3 Pro.
