Every day they are released updates for the most varied models of manufacturers such as Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi, Redmi, OPPO e Realme. Given the abnormal amount of devices in circulation, divided between the Chinese and western markets, the updates are manifold. For this reason we decided to create an article that contains all the minor updates or updates intended for the Asian audience.

HUAWEI
- Huawei P40 Pro +
The 10.1.0.145MB EMUI 546 optimizes the call sound of the Huawei P40 Pro +, as well as enhancing the multi-window experience.
- Huawei P40 / P40 Pro
It starts with the update of the Huawei P40 family, which is receiving the latest 10.1.0.145 MB EMUI 522. The innovations are manifold, with optimizations for the audio sector, calls, Multi-Windows mode and other fixes.
- Huawei P40 Lite
The 10.1.0.226 MB EMUI 719 arrives on Huawei P40 Lite. An update that deals exclusively with the security sector, adding the June patches.
- Huawei P30 / P30 Pro
The Huawei P30 family continues to update, top of the range of the last 2019. After receiving the EMUI 10.1 in Europe, the update to the EMUI 10.1.0.123, including the patches of June, is about to arrive.
- Huawei P30 Lite
It also updates the smallest of the trio, Huawei P30 Lite, with the 10.0.0.247 MB EMUI 129. Again the change concerns the inclusion of the July patches.
- Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G
The version equipped with 5G connectivity of Mate 30 Pro updates to the 10.1.0.152 MB EMUI 279, thus receiving the July security patches.
- Huawei Mate 20 X
Huawei Mate 20 X updates with a latest 9.84 MB build of the EMUI 10.1, although with the most recent security patches of May 2020.
- Huawei Mate 20 Lite
A full-bodied 3.9 GB update with the EMUI 10.0.0.212 arrives on Huawei Mate 20 Lite, adding Huawei Assistant, Smart Charge charging and optimizations for camera and calls.
- Huawei P Smart 2019
Not being the most recent of smartphones, Huawei P Smart 2019 is updating with the 10.0.0.197 MB EMUI 117. We will have to wait for the possible arrival of the EMUI 10.1, while the patches of May are now present.
- Huawei Nova 7
After the patches of July, Huawei Nova 7 updates with the EMUI 10.1.1.171, adding Multi-Screen, optimizations for camera and app and the latest patches of July.
- Huawei Nova 6, 6 5G & Nova 6 SE
Huawei has from poco released a new software update for the trio of the Huawei Nova 6 family. In the case of Nova 6 and 6 5G it is the EMUI 10.1.0.213, with the security patches of July, while for Nova 6 SE it is the EMUI 10.1.0.221 with May patches.
- Huawei Nova 5, 5 Pro, 5i, 5i Pro & 5Z
A new update arrives for the team consisting of five Huawei Nova 5 series terminals. While the 5 patches arrive in July, the other four are limited to those of June. Note that Nova 5i also receives the option to record the screen during calls and smart charging. The EMUI version is not the same for everyone, however: EMUI 10.1.0.160 for 5 Pro, 10.0.0.123 for 5i, 9.1.1.198 for 5Z and 5i Pro and finally 9.1.1.194 for 5.
- Huawei Nova 3i
With a weight of 111 MB, the update to the EMUI 9.1.0.315 for Huawei Nova 3i brings the patches of July.
- Huawei Y9 2019
The 9.1.0.298MB EMUI 103 brings with it the July security patches on Huawei Y9 2019.
- Huawei Y9s
The June patches also arrive on Huawei Y9s, with the latest update to the 10.0.0.238 MB EMUI 238.
- Huawei Enjoy Z 5G / Enjoy 20 Pro
Huawei Enjoy Z and Enjoy 20 Pro are receiving the new July OTA update with the EMUI 10.1.1.160, with Smart Vision function and optimization for camera and Wi-Fi.
- Huawei Enjoy 10s
The EMUI 10 arrives on Huawei Enjoy 10.1.0.145s, an update that brings improvements to the gaming phase, switch between activities and more.
- Huawei matepad
The Huawei MatePad tablet updates and receives a new feature to support improved video calls, with tracking of movements and keeping focus on the subject.
- Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite
The tablets also continue to be updated, as in the case of Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite. The 8.0.0.279 MB EMUI 111 arrives and brings with it the June patches.
- Huawei Sound X
The Huawei Sound X smart speaker receives the 9.0.3.3 firmware, with an optimization for the awakening experience of the device.
HONOR
- Honor 30
The top of the range Honor 30 is receiving the 3.1.1.162 firmware, bringing with it the security patches of June 2020. The changelog contains other innovations, such as Dual-View mode for videos, multi-device control, MeeTime and AR measurement .
- Honor 30S
Honor 30S is updating with firmware 3.1.1.172, with news for the Multi-Screen function and optimizations for the camera.
- Honor 30 Youth Edition
The new Honor 30 Youth Edition is updated with the Magic UI 3.1.1.160. The update optimizes photo effects, adds Smart Vision function and more.
- Honor View 20
While the new EMUI 10.1 is released, the update including the Magic UI 20 to version 3.0 of 10.0.0.206 MB has been released on Honor View 139. The news concerns only the July patches.
- Honor 20s
Magic UI 20 was released on Honor 2.1s in its version 9.1.1.165, with the security patches of June.
- Honor 20i
The update with the 20 MB EMUI 10.0.0.191 arrives on Honor 93,43i. This update introduces the June 2020 security patches.
- Honor 20 Youth Edition
Arrived by us under another name, Honor 20 Youth Edition is updated with the 10.1.0.145 firmware, with new system animations.
- Honor 9
Honor 9 updates to the 9.1.0.220 GB EMUI 3.42 and receives the Smart Charge mode and the battery protection function.
- Honor X10
The latest update of the Magic UI 3.1.1.152 for Honor X10 adds the gestures of switch between the apps, animation for the status bar, a new algorithm for night photos and stabilizes the network signal.
- Honor 9X
Honor 9X updates with the EMUI 10.1.0.105, with gestures for the switch between the apps, animations for the shortcuts of the status bar, improvements for the knuckle gestures and SmartCharge mode. Finally, there are the patches of July.
- Honor 8X
Honor 8X also joins the group of smartphones that updates with the patches of July, thanks to the latest 10.0.0.215 MB EMUI 109.
- Honor 8A
The June patches also arrive on Honor 8A, with the update to the latest version 9.1.0.326 of the software.
- Honor 7X
Various useful features are now available on the Honor 7X with the 9.1.0.168 MB EMUI 736 update. The most interesting is VoWiFi for calls over the wireless network. But there is also the Huawei Assistant, as well as Smart charging for the battery. Finally, there are the June patches.
- Honor Play 4
The 3.1.1.133 firmware arrives on Honor Play 4, optimizing aspects such as video playback, camera and device security.
XIAOMI
- Xiaomi Mi 10
The update with MIUI 12.0.7.0.QJBCNXM arrives on Xiaomi Mi 10. The innovations are minimal and concern the improvement of the general performance of the device.
- Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro
Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro is acquiring the latest firmware with the MIUI 11.0.7.0 Global, with improvements to the stability and performance of the device.
- Xiaomi Mi 8
MIUI 11.0.5.0 Global Stable arrives via OTA on Xiaomi Mi 9, introducing the June patches.
- Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite
For Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, however, the MIUI 11.0.3.0 Global is released, with improvements to the stability and performance of the device.
- Xiaomi MiNote 10 Lite
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is receiving the latest MIUI 11.0.7.0 Global. No drastic changes, except for the optimization of the proximity sensor.
- Xiaomi Mi Max 3
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 updates with the MIUI 11.0.4.0 Global Stable, thus receiving the June security patches.
- Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite
A very small update from only 6.3 kb arrives on Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, with minute improvements to the system.
- Xiaomi Mi A1
Launched as the first model of the Android One program, the latest update for Xiaomi Mi A1 improves system stability and performance.
redmi
- Redmi Note 9 Pro Max
Relegated to the Indian market only, the "giant" Redmi Note 9 Pro Max received the update with MIUI 11.0.4.0, with optimizations for performance, stability and security.
- Notes redmi 9 Pro
MIUI 11.0.8.0 arrives on Redmi Note 9 Pro, bringing with it the classic optimizations for security and stability, as well as the June patches.
- Notes redmi 8 Pro
The MIUI 11.0.5.0 in Global version arrives on Redmi Note 8 Pro, optimizing SIM compatibility and bug resolution for Dual Apps and emergency support.
- Redmi Note 8T
On European territory MIUI 11.0.10.0 has been released for Redmi Note 8T. No MIUI 12, for the moment, while the June patches are included.
- redmi 9
Redmi 9 is receiving the update with MIUI 11.0.4.0, with which to reduce the system lag and improve the security sector.
- Redmi 8a dual
After the official 9A model, a new update for the Redmi 8A Dual arrives. No update to Android 10 or MIUI 12, but MIUI 11.0.8.0 with the June security patches.
- Redmi 7A
MIUI 11.0.3.0 takes its course on the Redmi 7A Global units, implementing the security sector of the July 2020 patches.
- Redmi Y3
A very important update arrives on Redmi Y3, as the ROM is being released with Android 10, with the MIUI 11.0.1.0 release starting from China.
- Redmi go
Although there is no MIUI 11 yet, the update to the latest MIUI 10.2.19.0 in the global Stable version has been brought to Redmi Go. This is not a revolutionary update, containing only optimizations for system stability and lag.
POCO
- POCO F1
The famous flagship killer POCO F1 (o Pocophone F1) is updating in its global version, with the 11.0.8.0 MB MIUI 154. Guess what? Yes, even on POCO F1 June patches arrive.
- POCO X2
There is a new update for POCO X2, brought to MIUI 11.0.11.0. With a small weight of 173 MB, the smartphone receives the June 2020 security patches.
- POCO M2 Pro
We close the section with POCO M2 Pro, with MIUI 11.0.3.0 which brings the June patches and nothing else.
OPPO
- OPPO Find X2
The (almost) top of the range OPPO Find X2 is being updated with the patches of July: network performance, camera effects, consumption and stability improve.
- OPPO Reno 4 5G
The update to firmware A.20 for OPPO Reno 4 5G is being released, whose main purpose is to optimize consumption and solve problems related to overheating and the photographic algorithm.
- OPPO Reno 10x Zoom
OPPO Reno 10x Zoom updates and receives the 919 MB CPHI11EX_28_C.539 update, not only with the July patches but also an improvement in the video zoom.
- OPPO A92s
The patches of July arrive on OPPO A92, with the firmware version A.15. The update also offers improved security and stability compartments for the device.
- OPPO A91
The A.20 update also arrives on OPPO A91, bringing with it the most recent security patches of June 2020.
- OPPO A11x
OPPO A11x is receiving the not very recent security patches of June, updating to update A.15.
- OPPO R15
Launched a March 2018 with Android 8.1 Oreo, OPPO R15 is preparing to receive the update to Android 10 in the form of ColorOS 7.
- OPPO R15 Pro & Dream Mirror
OPPO R15 Pro and its Dream Mirror version begin to update with the ColorOS 7 and, with it, Android 10. Excellent news, if you think that these are two devices launched in 2018.
- OPPO A3
The mid-range with Helio P60 and a display with "classic" notch (here you find all the details) received the new ColorOS 7 with Android 10.
- OPPO A9 and A9x
2019 was the year of mid-ranges with drop notch and models A9 e A9x they are a clear proof of this. Both devices have just received the update to Android 10, through ColorOS 7.
- OPPO F15 / A91
The duo formed by OPPO F15 and OPPO A91 are also starting to receive the important update to Android 10 with the latest ColorOS 7. The update includes new features such as Dark Theme, full screen gestures, a reinterpretation of the UI, Game Space and much more.
- OPPO F9 and F9 Pro
The July update, the CPH1823EX_11_F.11 arrives on OPPO F9 and F9 Pro, with swipe-up gestures, full screens and July patches.
- OPPO F7
The patches of July arrive on OPPO F7 with the update CPH1819EX_11_F.13, in addition to various bug fixes, improvements and a strengthening of the Wi-Fi connection.
- OPPO Reno 2Z
The mid-range with pop-up camera - here you find our review - updates to the version CPH1945EX_11_C.27 ColorOS 7, with a weight of 656 MB. The release brings the patch di safety of the month of July 2020 and a new option for i gestures scroll.
REALLY
- Realme X50 Pro Player Edition
The gaming version of the top Realme X50 Pro is updated with firmware A.21. The news is different: smart charging, Game Space improvements, interface optimization, shortcuts, Bluetooth, gaming and introduction of the July patches.
- Realme X50 Pro
In the case of the base Realme X50 Pro there is the Realme UI in its version A.21. The update adds the Super Standby night function, a shortcut for 5G and functions for gaming.
- Realme X50 5G
The July 2020 patches also arrive on board the Realme X50 5G (here you find our review) thanks to the build RMX2144EU_11A.11 released in Europe in these hours. In addition to the patches, the update also brings the fix for some unspecified problems, together with improvements in terms of system stability.
- Realme X2 Pro
Realme X2 Pro is also updating itself and is doing so with the W.73 firmware. The update adds numerous optimizations that touch IMEI, battery, security, floating button, long screenshots, encryption for cloned apps, split-screen, Breeno assistant, Bluetooth and more.
- Realme X2
The Chinese model of Realme X2 is receiving the firmware version RMX1991_11_C.20, coming soon also for Global users. The security patches of July 2020 and some features related to Realme Lab (the Super Standby Night and a mode dedicated to the display, which will give the impression of being in front of a 90 Hz panel).
- Realme X Youth Edition
Realme X Youth Edition receives the latest OTA update from July with the C.06 edition. The update adds the Realme Link function, text memos via voice with encryption and much more, as well as various bug fixes.
- Realme C3
Realme C3 is receiving the RMX2020_11_A.33, optimizing sectors such as audio quality in gaming, system stability, lag phenomenon and known problems.
- Realme 3, 3 Pro & 3i
The July patches have just been released on both Realme 3 and Chinese 3 and Pro 3i. The update for Realme 3 Pro also introduces the Realme Link app for pairing accessories, in addition to the one for voice recording. For Realme 3 and 3i there is the update C.14, with the patches of July, in addition to the two apps mentioned above and various software fixes.
- Realme 2 / C1 / U1
The triptych of smartphones consisting of Realme 2, C1 and U1 will not have the Realme UI, but they are still updating with the last OTA of July. The RMX1805EX_11.A.69 for 2 and C1 and RMX1831EX_11.C.20 for U1 firmware carry the July patches, the Realme Link app and the cloud storage service.
- Realme watch
The firmware version 86.0 appears via OTA to Realme Watch owners. In addition to the canonical bug fixes, the update adds new reminder notifications.
- Real Buds Air Neo
Realme Buds Air Neo true wireless headphones receive the new firmware 2.1.0.139. With the update, a pop-up window will appear when you combine them with a device with Realme UI, through which you can adjust the settings.
- Realme 5 Pro
Realme 5 Pro - mid-range arrived in Italy and reviewed here - updates to the version RMX1971EX_11_C.05, it appears to be based on Android 10 and with Realme UI V1.0. The update brings with it security patches of the month of July 2020 along with various optimizations. Screen recording has been improved and some known issues have been fixed. The update is released incrementally, first in India and then in the rest of the international markets (including Italy).
RED MAGIC
- Red magic 5g
Red Magic 5G is updating with ROM V4.11. New features include the June security patches, facial recognition and other small details.
VIVO
- Vivo NEX 3 5G
It starts with Vivo NEX 3 5G on which the FunTouch OS arrives in its 6.13.4 version from 3.86 GB. This is an important update, containing the new FunTouch OS 10 based on Android 10.
- Vivo X50 Pro +
The latest top of the range Vivo X50 Pro + is updating with FunTouch OS version 1.11.2, improving power management and system stability.
- Vivo X30 Pro
As for the top of the previous generation range, Vivo X30 Pro is officially receiving the Funtouch OS 10 based on Android 10.
- Vivo V17 Pro
Version 6.12.2 of the FunTouch OS makes its debut on Vivo V17 Pro. This causes the stability and performance of the device to be improved.
- Vivo V15 Pro
It is time to Android 10 to Vivo V15 Pro. The update was initially released in India, with 6.19.3 GB Funtouch OS firmware v3.56.
- Vivo V11 Pro
Nothing Android 10 for Vivo V11 Pro, on the other hand, while the security patches of July 2020 are coming with firmware 6.13.5.
- Vivo Z6
Version 1.12.6 of the FunTouch OS was released on Vivo Z6, with optimizations for connectivity, gaming and multimedia experience.
- Vivo Z3
A small 127 MB update was released on Vivo Z3, making some changes to fix some known bugs.
- Vivo Z1 Pro
Some improvements are made from firmware 6.8.30 on Vivo Z1 Pro, with bug fixes and system stability improvements.
- Vivo Z1x
Also Vivo Z1x is updating itself, in this case with an update that introduces the security patches of July 2020.
- Vivo S1 Pro
Starting with Indonesia, the latest update of the Funtouch OS for Vivo S1 Pro carries the PD1945F_EX_A_1.9.9 firmware. The news mainly concern the camera, between Face Beauty and improvements to the management of noise, sharpness and experience in general.
- Vivo Y12
A new update has been brought on the low-cost Vivo Y12 for the month of July. Among the optimizations we find sectors such as camera, connectivity, ID sensor, energy consumption and Bluetooth.
iQOO
- iQOO Neo 855 Racing
The 7.8.8 revision of the FunTouch OS appears in the OTA updates of iQOO Neo 855 Racing, with an eye to optimizing energy consumption.
ASUS
- ROG Phone 3
Fresh from the presentation, ASUS ROG Phone 3 updates a few days after launch, although it is not yet on sale. The firmware 17.0823.2007.25 adds the Outdoor mode in the audio settings, the 3-finger screenshots and the AirTriggers function for the macros. The optimizations also concern connectivity with cars, touch screens and interfaces.
- ASUS ZenFone 6
The update with the firmware 17.1810.2007.165 for ASUS ZenFone 6 improves it, with novelties such as VoWiFi and VoLTE for some geographical areas of Northern Europe. The system is stabilized and the security patches are updated in July.
- ASUS ZenFone Max M2
ASUS ZenFone Max M2 is receiving July security patches with the new global firmware 16.2018.2007.68.
Meizu
- Meizu 17
The Meizu 17 family received a full-bodied update. The update includes improvements to automatic brightness, navigation gestures, animations and autonomy.
- Meizu 16X & Note 9
The Flyme OS 8.1 based update is being released again Android 10 for Meizu 16X, but also Meizu Note 9. One of the engineers of the Meizu team reports on the forum, even if it seems that the roll-out has only started for a few users.
UMIDIGI
- UMIDIGI S5 Pro
The 1830 firmware version arrives on UMIDIGI S5 Pro solves third-party camera, touch screen and launcher problems, as well as improving the functioning of the ID sensor.
- UMIDIGI A5 Pro
The latest security patches of July with the latest update also arrive on the low-cost UMIDIGI A5 Pro.
