Arm yourself with patience and time, because the procedure we are going to illustrate has several steps to follow perfectly to make it work properly. How to install Google services on Huawei P40 Pro and compatible models New method

• Copy the downloaded ZIP file to the pendrive and connect it to the smartphone
• Open the Files app, click at the bottom on “Category” and choose USB Drive from the list
• Hold down on the ZIP file, click on the 3 dots at the bottom right and select "Extract to / This folder"

• Once the extraction is complete (it will take a few seconds), click on the created folder and then on "Step 1 ″, we will need it in a few steps
• Go in "Settings / Apps / App", Click on the 3 dots at the top right and select"Show system processes"
• Click on the process “Backup", Then on"Force stop"Ed"Uninstall"
• Go back to the aforementioned folder “Step 1", Install the file"1.apk"And click on"Done” (in case it asks you, enable installation from unknown sources)
• Then also install the file “2.apk"

• On the Backup app screen, give all the requested confirmations and, once started, click on "External memory"And select"USB"
• Click on the file on the USB stick connected to the smartphone, make sure that the item "App and date"Is selected and click on"Restore"(The required password will be shown to you below the entry field)

Install LZPlay

If you have done everything correctly, you should have a new app installed on your smartphone, with a Chinese name and a “G” in the icon. It's about LZPlay and it is essential for the continuation of the procedure. But we will come back to this later, not before having reminded you that it will be necessary to be connected to the internet (preferably to a Wi-Fi network).

• Go back to the Files app, you should still be inside the “USB Drive” folder
• Select the folder at the top with the name “00_ANDROID ...” and enter the only folder present
• After step 1, at this point you have to enter the folder "Step 2"And install the first app"(0) Quick Shortcut Maker.apk"
• Return to home, launch the LZPlay app and from the screen that appears select "Activate"And then on"Allow"

• Click on the blue button below and, once the installation of the various Google apps has started, return to the Files app
• From here, install all the other apps present in order, starting with “(1) Google Play services.apk" until "(6) Google Contacts.apk"

Google access with QuickShortcutMaker

• Once all are installed, go back to home and run the app QuickShortcutMaker
• Scroll down and select "Google Account Manager"

We solve problems with Play Services

• Entering the data you will get an error screen, but it is normal
• Go back to the Files app and to the screen with the various Step folders
• Select "Step 3” and install the only APK file present, namely Google Services Framework
• Return to the previous error screen, select "NEXT”And you will return to the previous QuickShortcutMaker screen
• If everything went as planned, you should receive notifications from Google, thus making you understand that the login was successful
• To verify that this is indeed the case, you can go to "Account settings"To see the appearance of the item"Google"
• Go back to home and check that the app is also there Play Store functions, however much you should receive error notifications from Play Services
• Download and install the app Device ID (eye that there are others with the same name)

• Launch it and you should be able to see your Google Services Framework number, we'll need it later
• Open the running apps screen and close them all

• Select "Step 4” and install the only APK file present for Google Play services (the error notifications will return)

• Close all apps
• Go in "Settings / Apps / App", Click on the 3 dots at the top and select"Show system processes"
• Select "Google Services Framework", Then" Memory "and click first on"Clear cache"And then on"Clear date"
• Go back, first click on “Force stop"(You may have to repeat it several times) and then on"Uninstall"
• Close all apps
• Go to the same directory as before, or "Files / USB Drive / 00_ANDROID ... "
• This time click on "Step 3”And install the APK Google Services Framework file
• Close all apps, at this point you should no longer have problems with notifications
• Go in "Settings / Apps / App", Select"Google Play services"
• First click on “Force stop"(You may have to repeat it several times) and then on"Uninstall"
• Close all apps
• Go to the same directory as before, or "Files / USB Drive / 00_ANDROID ... "
• Click on "Step 5”And install the APK Google Play services file

• Restart the smartphone
• Go in "Settings / Apps / App”And scroll all the way down to find the Chinese name of LZPlay
• Click on it and select “Uninstall"

What if it still doesn't work?

If you have done everything as shown, then you shouldn't have any problems. Google services work, as do the Play Store and all the apps in the Google ecosystem. But some reports highlight that, at the end of step 5, there may still be operational problems. In that case, here's what you need to do:

• Go in "Settings / Apps / App", Click on the 3 dots at the top and select"Show system processes"
• Select "Google Services Framework", Then" Memory "and click first on"Clear cache"And then on"Clear date"
• Go back, first click on “Force stop"(You may have to repeat it several times) and then on"Uninstall"
• Go in "Settings / Apps / App"And click on"Google Play services"
• Click on "Force stop"(You may have to repeat it several times) and then on"Uninstall"(Doing so will also disappear the notifications)
• Close all apps
• Open the Files app, go to “Files / USB Drive / 00_ANDROID…", Select"Step 3”And install the APK file inside it
• Go to the folder “Step 4” and install this other APK file
• Go back to the home, open the Play Store (it may take a few seconds before it works)
• Again: Go to "Settings / Apps / App"And click on"Google Play services"
• Click on "Force stop"(You may have to repeat it several times) and then on"Uninstall"(Doing so will also disappear the notifications)
• Go to the folder “Step 5”And install the APK file
• Restart the smartphone

If unfortunate, you may have to repeat this procedure again, but it should work fine for you sooner or later. According to reports, however, this method appears to be less difficult, so you shouldn't run into too many repetitions. If not, try a factory reset after a failed test before trying again.
