It was "far" 2015, when the Chinese company launched his first device dedicated to the mid-range, OnePlus X. Although it was a successful experiment - offering a smartphone with respectable features for the time and an affordable price - the company decided to end the series, so that we can focus exclusively on premium products. However it seems that things could change in 2020, at least according to what the insider reported Max Weinbach.

The character in question is one of the known names of XDA and not only and therefore his words they might have some weight. It is also worth noting a small detail: if Max Weinbach had wanted to name OnePlus 8 Lite he would have done it for sure, given that in the past weeks there has been a lot of talk about this presumed, new model (of which here you will find all the leaked rumors). In short, it would not have been a novelty nor a too big spoiler. Instead the insider limited himself to talking about the return of OnePlus X in a new guise and with a new series.
It therefore remains to be seen what the next weeks will hold. The mid-range of the Chinese company will be part of the 8 series or are you planning to launch a separate range? To get the answer to this question we will necessarily have to be patient. However, remember that the launch of the new models should be scheduled for 15 April (rumor!) so we will certainly know more as we get closer to the fateful date.
