After a fairly full-bodied period of beta phase, here is the update to Android 10 dedicated to ASUS ROG Phone 2 seems to have finally reached its stable version. The announcement came directly from the Asian company via the official Global profile on Twitter, but at the moment there seems to be some hitch.
ASUS ROG Phone 2: the company confirms the start of the release of Android 10
Yesterday the company announced the release of the update dedicated to ASUS ROG Phone 2, obviously on a basis Android 10. The post merely confirms the roll out, without offering further details regarding the precise timing or a changelog. However, based on the beta releases, Android 10 for the flagship from gaming it should not bring about interface changes, but simply go to update the system and introduce some essential bugfixes.
However, we point out that for unknown reasons, the ASUS post is currently deleted (at the time of writing). Consequently, it is not known whether the update is actually being released, even if various users on the social report to be still stuck in Android 9. According to rumors, the actual roll out for ROG Phone 2 should start today or from today 10 March.
Evidently the Asian company wanted to take one more day before releasing the update or it started in a way incremental and at the moment it may only be available for a very small circle of users.
