The world of audio products is increasingly free of cables. All headphone manufacturers are aiming to improve their wireless proposals. In the meantime, the Realme Buds 2 they want to stand out, aiming at a less attentive and eager audience of the latest technologies. Being a wired headphones, pose as headphones more flexible and less anchored to autonomy. But what are the pros and cons?
Realme Buds 2 review
Unlike many Chinese brands, the Realme Buds 2 are presented in a fairly cured way, with a packaging with aesthetic care. Already on the front the slogan "Feel The Real Bass"Anticipates what the audio characteristics of the same will be. Opening them we do not find much else, if not the headphones and the spare rubbers.
Personally it was time that I didn't get my hands on wired headphones, so I don't hide a certain almost nostalgic sense in grabbing the cable that ties them to the mini-jack connector. It's a braided cable: this means that it does not get knotted easily, a factor that should not be underestimated if you want it not to deteriorate too quickly. In addition, there is also a special cable tie which incorporates the yellow tones present here and there, with which to tie the cable when storing them.
Assembled in plastic materials, the Realme Buds 2 integrate a magnetic attack, with which to connect them together when we do not use them and put them around our neck. On the right cable there is also a inline controller for the various multimedia controls, with a satisfactory and functional click mechanism. The built-in microphone offers good phone quality, making it clear to converse with your partner.
From a technical point of view, the headphones integrate driver from 11.2 mm, with multi-layer diaphragm and Daikoku coils, focused on boosting the reproduction of low frequencies. And in fact, while listening, one senses how Realme has decided to favor this range of frequencies. A sound choice that is appreciated especially in listening to more exquisitely modern and electronic genres, especially where the low ones are the masters.
Even at high volumes, there are no particular distortions, with a sound impact definitely impactful. They are headphones that, however, will turn up the nose of the most experienced, given the marked equalization that makes them stand out from a more neutral perspective. The detail reproduced is more than adequate for the cost at which they are offered, but the sensation for the more "audio-mischievous" can result from a sound closure, dictated by the equalization that rewards the lower range of the entire spectrum. The mediums suffer the most, however they are present but not valued as much as possible.
Conclusion and price
At a price of only 19.99€ su Amazon Italia, it is difficult not to recommend Realme Buds 2 to anyone looking for such a product. They are well-made headphones and which, moreover, are on sale with Amazon Prime, so in a short time they will get you home and with a more than optimal guarantee.
