The launch of the new Amazfit BIP 2 - as for the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 - now looks around the corner, thanks to FCC certification e the first images that immortalize the design of the smartwatch. A few more details come from the device's firmware, which suggests a series of new features that will not be missed
Amazfit BIP 2 coming in two variants, with and without NFC
As for the design of the smartwatch, theAmazfit BIP 2 does not seem to present any great difference to the previous model. The battery is slightly larger (200 mAh) while the company has introduced a novelty not from poco: now the device is able to withstand depths up to 5 ATM.
On the firmware side, the same reveals to us that the wearable will come in two incarnations, one of which has a module NFC. Present the Italian language and the controls for the music. Perhaps - as for the Mi Band 3 NFC - it will be necessary to force the Italian, but this will not be a big problem. The "classic" model is the one called Mili_dth_w while the variant with NFC can be identified by the code Mili_dth.

The same fate will also affect the upcoming Mi Band 4, which will once again come in a standard edition and one equipped with an NFC chip. For the moment there are no details on the launching for both devices, but all these signals are unequivocal: the official presentation is not that far away!
