Xiaomi Mi Band 3 with eSIM? A new teaser raises suspicions
The image above could represent a "simple" teaser poster announcing the arrival of the Xiaomi Mi Band 3. Yet some details suggest something more; first of all the presence of the logo of China Unicom, one of the leading Chinese telephone operators, and the fact that the aforementioned poster was shared on Weibo from the official profile of the operator.
Yet another detail, the profile of Mija he reshared the image, with a comment about a partnership between the two companies. The comments of the users are not lacking and many assume that the smartband could come with support eSIM.
However, since it is not a smartwatch, the presence of this feature seems rather unlikely. What could be the usefulness of one? eSIM on a device devoted solely to fitness and with limited functionality compared to a more "sophisticated" model? Or maybe another device is still coming in the shade until now?
