During the past days il Huawei Mate 9 received a new one updating, to the delight of all phablet owners. Contrary to what some thought, this update did not introduce the EMUI 5.1, the renewed proprietary graphic interface seen on the recent ones P10, P10 Plus ed Honor 8 Pro. This would be linked to what Huawei has said in recent weeks, namely that the phones arrived on the market with the EMUI 5.0 they would not have received the new version.

However, in these hours it was leaked into the network one screenshot that shows us the EMUI 5.1 on board Huawei Mate 9. According to reports, this firmware is being tested by a user of the XDA community, so it is not to be excluded the arrival in the coming weeks. On the other hand, just think that the Mate 9 is one of the very first smartphones on which it is being tested the new Android O.

Among the main new features introduced by EMUI 5.1 we find the functions Ultra Memory ed Ultra Response: while the former deals with managing RAM more efficiently, learning from the user's habits, the second improves the responsiveness of the touchscreen.
