After the official arrival of LineageOS, project born directly from the ashes of the late CyanogenOS, many devices have started receiving theupdating to the aforementioned ROM.

If you are interested, you can download in version Nightly o Experimental from official page. In addition to it, you need to download the Google Apps, In addition to SuperSU add-on for the root.
To proceed with theinstallation, you will need to install on the device one custom recovery (TWRP) and flash the aforementioned add-ons separately. Once you have downloaded the ROM and the Google Apps, transfer them to OnePlus X and start it later in TWRP recovery mode.
Select "Wipe / Swipe to Factory Reset"From the TWRP main menu. Returning to the menu, click on "install", Select the LineageOS file you copied on the terminal and make"Swipe to Confirm Flash"To start the installation.
Once finished, select the option "Wipe cache / dalvik" and subsequently "Swipe to wipe". Afterwards flashate le Google Apps (and the add-ons for the root, if you wanted) following the above procedure and finally restart the device.
