Nubia N1 Meizu M3 Notes Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro comparison

As we all know, it is an open war between the Chinese producers to excel in every market segment.

After analyzing them individually and having seen them strengths e defects, here we are to compare three devices di middle band that have done a lot of talk about themselves in this 2016 now almost finished.

Which phone is worth buying between Nubia N1, Meizu M3 Notes e Xiaomi Redmire 3 Pro?

Let's find out together in our confrontone!

Nubia N1, Meizu M3 Note and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro, the comparison of

I will not dwell too much on the box di sale, which for devices of this price range turn out to be enough skinny. The more complete I say Meizu M3 Notes, which also sees the presence of excellent earphones in addition to a battery charger enabled to quick charging a 2A and to a USB / Micro-USB cable.

Design, Display and Construction Quality

The three devices non stand out sure for one design refined, while enjoying one good quality constructive. The Nubia N1 and Xiaomi Note 3 Redmire Pro they are basically characterized by a design it's a structure very similar, at least for the back cover. Between the two, however, it is Nubia N1 to be preferred because of materials which, already to the touch, appear more premium and a greater solidity.

Mine favourite hotel however, it remains Meizu M3 Footnotes to the story, both from the point of view aesthetic that for the touch & feel.

An obvious problem that afflicts the three devices is the slipperiness, accentuated definitely from dimensions not contained. THE devices they are, in fact, characterized da IPS diagonal with 5.5 inch Full HD with pixel density equal to PPI 401.

Compared to that of its challengers, the display of Redmire Xiaomi Note Pro 3 disfigure, sinning in brightness e contrast. Having to do a ranking, I would definitely put him in last position, while on highest step I would certainly put on the podium Nubia N1.

However, even if i colors are played faithfully on all three devices, these have some insufficient viewing angles which tend, for example, to make the white screens appear gray.

Su N1 e M3 Notes we find again, to protect the , a glass with curl 2.5D and a good treatment oleophobic.

Above at the display, on all devices are present the ear capsule, the brightness and proximity sensors and the camera: from 5 mega-pixels su Xiaomi e Meizu and well 13 mega-pixels on Nubia. Furthermore, there is a notification led on the first two devices mentioned, post instead inferiorly su Nubia N1, integrated into the Home soft-touch button.

Below al , we note some differences more pronounced. On Meizu M3 Notes there is only one present physical Home button, in which the fingerprint sensor, equipped with many gesture interesting. on two other phonesinstead, there are classics backlit soft-touch keys that, in the case of Home button di Nubia N1, is the iconic red circle which also serves as notification led.

Both side faces are very similar in the three phones in question. We find, in fact, on the right side il volume balance and power button. The leftinstead, it is very bare, seeing only the presence of the trolley for the two SIMsIn format Nano, of which one expendable for expand la the memory using a micro SD.

Above the entrance is present mini-jack by 3,5 mm, microphone is preferably used for noise suppression and, in the sole case of the Redmire Xiaomi Note Pro 3, the infrared door.

Below, its Nubia N1 we find a door USB Type-C, placed in the center between thesystem loudspeaker and main microphone. Disposition also adopted by Meizu on his M3 Notes where, however, there is a door micro USB.

on the Xiaomi instead, only the main microphone and the door micro USB because, unfortunately, thesystem loudspeaker it's place later.

Right on the side back, the design of the three is really very similar. On Nubia N1 one is present camera da 13 mega-pixels with opening f / 2.2 e Flash LED, in addition to a fingerprint sensor circular. Sensor that we find, very similar, also on the Redmire Xiaomi Note Pro 3, together with one camera da 16 mega-pixels with opening ffinal match. e dual Flash LED. The Meizu M3 Notes instead, it does not have the fingerprint reader, as it is integrated into the mTouch physical button, so we find only the camera da 13 mega-pixels with opening f / 2.2 e dual Flash LED.

Hardware and Performance

Nubia N1 e Meizu M3 Notes adopt hardware solutions similar, which see them however in disadvantage respect to the home device Xiaomi. We find, in fact, aboard both MediaTek Helio P10 processor assisted by 3 GB of memory RAM.

The same amount of memory on board the Notes redmi 3 Pro, however, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650. It is in all three cases of memory of type L, fast enough and never caused problems on the three devices.

La GPU Adreno 510 the Xiaomi it is also noticeable more performing area of Mali-T860 mounted by his challengers. The user experience in the three devices is, however, the same, in fact they run smoothly and without highlighting problems.

Real Racing 3 it does not spin with high frame rate but it turns out equally usable, even if, in this aspect, the net winner is lo Redmire Xiaomi Note Pro 3.

Molto similar, as well as design, also the quality of the returned photos.

Su Nubia N1 we find a camera from 13 mega-pixels with opening f / 2.2, focus of type PDAF e Flash LED. Same mega-pixels also for Meizu M3 Notes which earns however a dual Flash LED. Redmire Xiaomi Note Pro 3 is equipped, however, with a camera from 16 mega-pixels with opening f / 2.0.

- Scatti I would call them Xiaomi and Meizu without infamy and without praise, especially in low light conditions. For sure Nubia behaves slightly better while, as regards the front camera, the difference is made much more sensitive, thanks to the sensor from ben 13 mega-pixels.

However, below you will find the uncompressed images, thanks to which you can get an idea yourself.

Lato software, all three devices enjoy customizations proprietary that guarantee apleasant and intuitive user experience. Being Asian devices, even in the presence of Different UI, there are many common points.

Su Nubia N1 we find the Nubia UI 4.0, on the Notes redmi 3 Proon the other hand, there is the MIUI 8, both based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Su N1 find the le gesture a screen edge that we had already enjoyed on Z11, in addition to the possibility of carrying out the calibration of the  . on the Xiaomi, MIUI 8 offers us some interesting features, like the mode simplified or the possibility of equalize l'audio and customize the keys and Notification LED. Here too it is possible to carry out the calibration of the , choosing between warmer or colder shades. Present on this device the Theme Engine of Xiaomi, with many themes can be downloaded online, many of them for free.

Su M3 Notesinstead, we find again Android version 5.1 with customization Flyme 5.1.3, in the international version with the Play Store pre-installed. Here too there is a wide possibility of Customization, as much as we can manage themes, icon e backgrounds.

Summarizing, I found the MIUI 8 and Nubia UI at the same level, but the latter is done to prefer for the presence of the gesture.

Connectivity and reception

A sore point, as far as connectivity is concerned, is theabsence of the 20 LTE band on home devices Meizu e Xiaomi (although it is to underline that an international version of this last device has been launched, which presents all the bands used in Europe).

As regards the WI-Fi, all three devices are equipped with the standard 802.11 b / g / n ma M3 Notes e RN3 Pro they support the standard a and are equipped with Dual Band, selectable, a 2.4 / 5 Ghz.

As for the location, we find GPSA-GPSGlonass su M3 Notes e N1 while on the Xiaomi it is also present Beidou. The fixedHowever, it always appears on all smartphones fast and navigation it's enough accurate.

Audio quality

Distribution rejected audio on all three devices. Poco clear and definitely poco clean, with a tendency to to sacrifice le high frequencies e basse. Volume slightly higher on Xiaomi which, however, is equipped with a speaker positioned later that, despite the lift foot, suffers noticeably when you place it on one surface absorbent.

L'autonomy It is one of highlights of these three devices, all capable of overcome the day without too much trouble with over 5 active screen hours. Nubia N1, however, thanks to a capacious battery by well 5000 mAh, guarantees almost two days of use Medium-intense. M3 Notes instead, it is equipped with a battery from 4100 mAh, 100 mAh more of the Notes redmi 3 Pro, which however has a less energetic processor.

I charging times they attest around the 2h / 2h and 30 on all the devices, an element that favors the Nubia N1 that, thanks to the quick charge Pump Express, manages to guarantee the same times in the presence of a battery with a larger amperage.

Which one to take then? The three choices are very much valid, thanks also at the aggressive price to which they are proposed.

If you are looking for a device with aautonomy from the first of the class, 20 bandinternational software and slightly better camera, definitely Nubia N1 it's the right choice. You can find it on the site of the official Italian dealer a 229 €.

If you are looking for a bargain price without however renouncing one beautiful design and at acurated interface, surely you can put your eye on Meizu M3 Notes. You can find it on the website of the official Italian retailer a 219 €.

In case you are looking for a device all do and which mounts a ROM followed and with one wide community as in the case of MIUI 8, instead, you can safely point to the Redmire Xiaomi Note Pro 3. You find it on GearBest starting from 187,83 €.
