Vivo it's a particular brand note in Chinese market but not in our European market. In fact, the company is known for manufacturing terminals top of the range, like the new one Vivo Xplay 6, from the price not particularly competitive (we talk about the band of the 700 €).
This would be justified by the presence of one technical high-end but above all by the implementation of technical details such as the curved display or the care of the multimedia sector. After being the subject of a first hands-on photo, today the terminal has received a teardown complete, revealing several interesting aspects.
Vivo Xplay 6 receives a first teardown and reveals an excellent construction
The first positive / negative feature of the Vivo Xplay 6 is that related to Dual Edge display, which results bent on all sides and 4. This implies a strong point for what concerns the aesthetics, but a further one impediment in phase of disassembly, which will require even more care to avoid breaking the panel.
But beyond that, the staff who performed the teardown has stated how the device enjoys aexcellent assembly internal and an arrangement of the first level components.
As mentioned at the beginning of the article, the Vivo Xplay 6 (but also the previous models) offer a I share multimedia, in particular that audio, very respectable. In fact, inside the body we can see the unpublished audio chips ESS Instruments ES9038Q2M Saber, with specifications that include 129 dB di SNR and a distortions di -120dB.
Besides it we find well 4 amplifiers, 3 of which are Texas Instruments OPA1622 together with a NXP TFA9890A.
